We had super rude customer service from both an employee and the manager. My 16 year old did their…read moreTues bogo deal the week prior and again the next Tuesday (for Homecoming tan). The first week was a male employee-very nice and helpful. The next week she went in for her bogo deal after she'd already paid the week before. The female employee demanded she pay even though my daughter explained the situation. She would not listen and was incredibly rude and made her pay. When I called about it, she said she'd call her manager. When I spoke with the manager she said she was just "firm" with her and defended the employee. She did see the mistake and offered a refund. She would not do it over the phone and said we'd need to come back to collect cash for the mistake. This was an inconvenience to drive 15 min there and then back home, so I asked for a refund back for the deal (which would've been a whopping $15. She acted appalled that I'd ask for that for the rudeness and inconvenience of driving back. Then the MANAGER hung up on me. The adult employee shouldn't have been rude to a 16 year old, and a manager should have remedied the situation. Instead, she was equally rude. I don't think this business understands customer service and do not admit when they are at fault.

I went to LA Tan in St. John the other day. I arrived at 7:53. I had rushed over from my softball…read moregame and was still in uniform. I have prom soon so I need to be tan. The website and apple maps both said open until 9:00 PM. I would also like to include their sign on the door also said nine. So, I arrived with a hour and seven minutes until they closed. I walked in and immediately received an unwelcoming tone from the worker. She told me the take the last customer at 7:50. It was 7:53. I was only going to do 5 minutes in level five so I would've been done rather quickly. I do understand that is their policy states they have a time where they can take people last but, the website states they close at nine. The attitude I received was far from kind and most certainly needs adjustments. So, I had more than enough time to do my 5 minute tanning session. Also, the expensive $90.00 membership for ONE month is outrageous; especially since the place its self is most definitely not clean and has broken lights in the hallways. I know I am not the first person to complain out the closing time, since I have other friends who have expressed the same issues. Hopefully this ill-kept establishment will listen to it's overpaid customers and make some necessary changes.

I called on a whim, and they had an appointment available. Whew! I was pleasantly greeted and filled out my 'first time' form. After a brief chat to discuss my 'style', my hair was assessed, and I was sent to get shampooed. I have curly hair and have not had it professionally cut since 2018 because I was scarred by a hairstylist that I heard tell their coworker, "Don't worry if you make a mistake. She has curly hair and won't even notice." Let's just say that The Color Room has restored my faith in a quality haircut. Pam was my stylist. She was pleasant and efficient. She used the"Curly Girl" line for my hair. I never really thought my hair was coarse until they used this stuff, and now my hair feels as soft as a puppy's fur. I am not mad at it because usually, if my hair is this soft, it won't style. But upon leaving, everything was in order. My hair was on point, and I was ready for the rest of my afternoon. Thank you for a delightful experience.
