This is a take‑out only spot, and they focus on fresh lobster and clams, which are wild‑caught and packed or cooked to go. The lobsters were tender and sweet, and the clams were also perfectly cooked and delicious. Everything was reasonably priced for the quality, and felt like a great value. The owner was really nice and friendly, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish. I'd absolutely go back for more the next time I'm in Ogunquit.

I remember during my last visit that Harbor Candy Shop was a standout, so I decided to stop in and rediscover the shop while exploring the area. Candy shops are pretty synonymous with resort/vacation downs in the United States, so it should come as no surprise that Ogunquit has one. Harbor is one of the better of these shops I've been to - it's large and very well stocked with a variety of sweets. They have a selection of bagged branded products, a wall filled with bulk candy, and a large display case with more artisan chocolates. The location is also prime - right on the main drag in the middle of all the action in Ogunquit. After browsing for a while, I decided to pick up a couple of pieces of loose wrapped chocolate and two of their house branded dark chocolate bars. Everything was good, I could tell the chocolate was high quality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more chocolate from them again. While I do think Harbor is a premier confection shop, it's not perfect (nothing is). The prices here are outrageous - I almost couldn't believe what I was reading at times. Does it match the quality? The jury is still out - just be prepared to dish it out. Also, the traffic flow when checking out is confusing, that could use some improvement. Outside of that, though, Harbor Candy Shop was great and worth a stop in when visiting Ogunquit.

It turns out it is one of the most popular items (I learned this when I came back). Service was better than expected! The teenage girl who helped me was friendly and quick. We bought some garlic herb goat cheese from Four Hearts Farm and a blueberry scone from another stall. The baker of the scones also had pies and breads, more sweet than savory, muffins and other assorted baked goods. We admired some stunningly gorgeous plum tomatoes and I wish we'd bought them. Finally, we bought some white nectarines, so far superior to the ones at Hanaford as to seem like another species entirely. It was a marvelous farmers' market w/ other produce we didn't buy because we're not home and can't use it, like eggplant and other vegetables. We also enjoyed a couples massage offered by the inn. Breakfast was very yummy! Each day there is a large selection of options you can pick and choose from. They had the breakfast offering for the day displayed and then you check off what you want with a marker on a short form. The inn is about a 10 minute walk from Footbridge beach, which was awesome. The barn has a bar, a balcony with couches, seating along the wall and room for more cocktail tables. We had a 7-piece band and 125 guests and there was plenty of room for dancing. The barn is decorated by the owners with white string lights and flowy white drapes, which made it festive. There is a firepit area, prepared by the owner which our guests used when they wanted a break from the music. It was also a huge plus to have access to the venue for 3 days and to be provided with 2 rooms and a restroom in the house for the bridal party to get ready. Charlie and Laura were wonderful to with. They are super responsive, reliable and personable. I cannot say enough about Josias River Farm and highly recommend it as a wedding venue!

If it is not raining, there is room for a tent, though we wanted a Bridgerton-esque feel with string quartet and all. But the barn was perfect, clean and our guest loved it. When we arrived, I immediately partook in a warm homemade oatmeal raisin cookie and a hot cup of coffee offered in the lobby area, and my SIL & I sunk into the comfy leather couches to rest our feet. Wow- that really hit the spot after walking around Perkins Cove all afternoon! Our room was perfect. Beautiful views and the most comfortable bed (with the most luxurious sheets, btw!). The room came equipped with our own Keurig and fridge (with bottled waters) and Lindt chocolates, yum! Love the sliding pocket door leading to our bathroom and the cozy decor of the entire room. The Covid prevention at the inn was A+ excellent. Hand sanitizers everywhere and the entire inn was spotless clean. And even though we all wore masks, it was easy to see everyone who greeted us was smiling, especially Bruce! Extremely warm & friendly environment.
