We had numerous lobster dinners at other places, and still wound up repeatedly revisiting Beach Plum Lobster Farm. They steam the lobsters perfectly, the prices work for us, and we don't need a bib to take the lobsters and home and drink them with a nice glass of chardonnay. Sad to see the outdoor tables are gone, but hey, that's life. Dave and Kelly are also very easy to talk to and are very flexible with requests. It's settled - we're coming here at least twice every time we come to Maine. Also got some oysters this time too, which were a pleasure to shuck and went nicely with the lobsters. We're taking some lobster home with us, just like we did last time, and look forward to coming here again next time we're down this way.

The brioche was delectable. The salads were very fresh. But the icing on the cake (pun intended) were the homemade desserts. Blueberry cheese cake. Home made ice cream and sorbet. Chocolate mousse. We bought some garlic herb goat cheese from Four Hearts Farm and a blueberry scone from another stall. The baker of the scones also had pies and breads, more sweet than savory, muffins and other assorted baked goods. We admired some stunningly gorgeous plum tomatoes and I wish we'd bought them. Finally, we bought some white nectarines, so far superior to the ones at Hanaford as to seem like another species entirely. When we arrived, I immediately partook in a warm homemade oatmeal raisin cookie and a hot cup of coffee offered in the lobby area, and my SIL & I sunk into the comfy leather couches to rest our feet. Wow- that really hit the spot after walking around Perkins Cove all afternoon! Our room was perfect. Beautiful views and the most comfortable bed (with the most luxurious sheets, btw!). The room came equipped with our own Keurig and fridge (with bottled waters) and Lindt chocolates, yum! Love the sliding pocket door leading to our bathroom and the cozy decor of the entire room. The Covid prevention at the inn was A+ excellent. Hand sanitizers everywhere and the entire inn was spotless clean. And even though we all wore masks, it was easy to see everyone who greeted us was smiling, especially Bruce! Extremely warm & friendly environment. I really LOVED breakfast and appreciated the ordering process: wipe-away mini menus where we checked off what we wanted to order. Brilliant!
