There were barely any customers when I got there so I was able to take my time and look at menu. I ended up getting the hunter pence and making it a meal with chips and drink. My friend got another sandwich (can't remember). We ate a bit of it there before deciding to take the rest to go at the mall since we were meeting friends there. I liked their drink options since I like the agave cream soda. It was a pretty good meal. Customer service was good. They did not rush us at all and answered all our questions. Seems like a cool spot to work at and chill.

If any of those ingredients were involved, that could be the culprit. Either way, this restaurant should take a hard look at its ingredients, suppliers, and food safety practices to make sure everything they're serving is fresh and safe. I hope this was an isolated incident, but no customer should be spending the next hour making emergency trips to the bathroom after a meal. I sincerely hope the restaurant investigates and ensures their ingredients are safe, because this experience was one I'd rather never repeat.

I got some chips and a drink and ate it there. Plenty of napkins were provided. Located in a rather funky 1960s shopping mall it's small, not that easy to find yet parking seems OK. Albeit it somewhat pricey the food is very good and the value is there. If you want Pastrami then this is the place. They sell bulk packages of it too. Try it. You might be as surprised by it.

My first visit was pleasant, which is why I decided to come back. This time, I ordered what I believe was the tri-tip steak wrap. As I was finishing the first half of my wrap, I noticed a dead fly in my food. Needless to say, I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I walked to the front and asked to speak with a manager. The cashier who helped me was very friendly and professional. I explained the situation to her, and she relayed it to the manager. While I do appreciate that they refunded my meal, what disappointed me most was the manager's response. He never came over to speak with me, apologize, or acknowledge the situation directly. From where I was standing, he appeared visibly disturbed when informed, but he simply instructed the cashier to issue a refund and never addressed me as the customer. I understand that mistakes happen and that it was a busy lunch rush. However, finding a fly in a meal is a serious food safety issue, and I believe a manager or owner should take a moment to personally speak with the customer, show concern, and offer an apology. A little empathy would have gone a long way. The refund was appreciated, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer care left a much stronger impression than the refund itself. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'm hesitant to return.

This location has the worst service, owner is a prude and allows underage drinking for its employees and on the job. Very unprofessional. Have seen the workers leave their job during an order to go to surrounding location on the clock to socialize. Illegal, unprofessional and rude activity . Plus over priced compared to other locations and the creation of sandwiches. Same price of others with half the food of other beach huts. Highly do do not recommend. Blue eyed girl smokes a blunt than made my food terribly on the clock. I don't think that's allowed at any business but this one. The owner nick is rude as well along with serving his underage employees alcohol while working. Any other beach hut deli is better. Be careful it how they handle your food. read more

My husband doesn't like any veggies, except for pickles and they were happy to load it with pickles for him. The exchange probably took around five minutes, which got me in and out of the shop super fast. The shop was clean inside, with seating available, and the shopping area has plenty of parking available. The sandwiches were fresh, the bread and toppings were just what we wanted and my husband got exactly what he wanted from the experience as well- even though I ordered for him. I would stop by this location again.

In the food industry your facial hair should not exceed 1/2 to 1/4 inches. Facial hair beyond that length needs to be retrained in a beard net. Restaurants typically have a clean shaven policy and I was very grossed out that there wasn't one in place for this restaurant. Regulations generally require that facial hair be neatly trimmed, and groomed to prevent contamination. The owner really needs to do something about this, I can't imagine I'm the only person who this kid has served who has thought this. I might consider coming back but I will request another server after some time.
