You know how some inspectors work for the deal and some work for the buyer? As this inspection…read morecompany came recommended by our REALTOR, and based on the outcome, I would say they tend to favor saving the sale over making sure you know what you are buying. Our inspector missed soooo many things that they gave us a refund. We've literally paid thousands to repair things they missed. As we got a refund, I was going to let it go, but a year later we got hit with an $800 fine as our sprinkler heads were painted, something else the inspector missed. What else did he miss? 1. Mold or mildew in bathrooms 2. AC unit was not functioning properly. 3. Issues with the bathtub. 4. The door lock to the back door was installed upside down. 5. Master shower leaked 6. Doors off tracks 7. Holes in window screens 8. All drains stoppers missing from EVERY single sink 9. Faucets loose in master bath 10. Hole on the front door near locking mechanism 11. Mold or mildew in fridge 12. Fan on patio not operational and missing light cover Etc. but that's all I can remember after a year. As we bought the house sight unseen, we really relied on professionals to be our eyes and ears. Lesson learned.

Walter fit us in the very day we called. They were extremely thorough and willing to answer any questions we had. Walter even informed us about various plants in the yard and gave us recommendations regarding how to care for them. This, I would assume, is outside the scope of a traditional inspection but nonetheless was exceptionally valuable for us. We felt very comfortable moving ahead with the home purchase knowing Ace looked at every aspect of the house with a fine-tooth comb so to speak. I would highly recommend Ace Inspections and we will certainly be return customers as well.

They found a few electrical outlets that had reverse polarity, no wire covering over the chimney, talked about the obvious crack in the cooktop but that's about it. Once we moved in, the nightmare started. The first thing we found was a wire coming out of the wall of the garage. On the inside of the garage it was plugged into a wall outlet where one of the outlets was burnt. The wire then ran into the ground and came up in the middle of the driveway of the shop. It then ran onto a 4x4 that wasn't even in the ground. From there to an electrical box with no cover and the wire nuts and electrical tape not even covering the wires. This power ran the entire shop (over 10 outlets and 6 fluorescent lights. Inside the house when we opened one of the kitchen cabinets we saw wires that didn't have wire nuts and the wire was still hot. Under the sink we had something going on that I wouldn't even expect a junior plumber would do let alone something that would pass an inspection. And to top all of this off, he sent a copy of the report to the sellers realtor. I was the one that paid for the inspection. When I msged him about it, I was ghosted and have never received a call or msg back. I'm pretty sure if this review doesn't get deleted, we will probably here something like the people that did the inspection were new or something like that. How do you explain not calling a customer back after they tell you that you screwed up... Beware

Carey said he had to come to the home to do an inspection for a report that was required for the FHA loan. Carey never mentioned that there would be a fee, and upon completion of the inspection he said it would be $450. The fee amount was not the issue, but it was a surprise since he never communicated that with me before coming. We ended up selling our home instead of renovating so I reached out to Carey for a refund and he told me it was non-refundable. Carey acted extremely unprofessional, and even told me that he "didn't give a f***" what happened after I told him I'd be leaving him a review. The refund isn't the issue, and it's 100% how he treated me during the conversations. He said that a portion of the fees went to drive time, consultation, and the actual inspection so I asked if he would refund the portion that was allocated to writing the actual report. Apparently $0 of the fee is for the report. He lies and treats people poorly. He is not worth your time. I have documented all the communication between myself and Carey and would be happen to share that with anyone since he will likely say we have lied. Do your self a favor and go with another company.

We have worked with Pam twice, and in both times, she absolutely exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond, every step of the way. This time around, we listed our home with her right after we moved abroad, and just trusted Pam would deliver like she always does, amidst the extra challenges that come with our particular situation. Pam guided us through the entire home selling process so everything went smoothly. She answers messages and emails so promptly even though she's serving multiple clients at the same time. Despite being thousands of miles apart and with opposite time zones, she managed our communication so efficiently it didn't feel like we're in different countries. She has a strong sense of ownership and definitely lives by what she often quotes, "Your casa my casa", as she demonstrates personal concern towards our family and our property whenever a need arises. She's a consummate professional and highly effective and proactive in the selling process, as she provided sound advice and directions, she pushed our listing to all relevant websites, handled inquiries, scheduled showings and provided feedback on each showing. She kept us informed on all details and next steps and went out of her way to always help. When things needed to be addressed, she would take the initiative and was very proactive, prompt, diligent, and represented us very well, and would even find us ways to save time and money. Pam's superb knowledge of the local market, real estate laws, combined with her exceptional sales ability, incredible work ethic, and outstanding charisma makes her best in class and best in the field. We have never seen a more dedicated and hardworking person, who truly works for the best interest of her clients. Pam Weeks is indeed a Powerhouse and we couldn't be more blessed!
