Melissa was so kind and willing to help that she even found another top to be delivered to me from the maker of the top in France. Melissa kept in contact with me so that I would be assured that I would in fact receive the top as soon as it was located. Thank you, Melissa! Also, a lot of super cute stuff- both Florida & surfer branded as well as just cute beachy brands. I was not expecting this in a Surf Style store. Of course there's all the cheesy knick knacks too like magnets, snow globes, shells, glasses and others. Those were as expected: not high quality but higher price. And again, if you needed beach stuff they have towels, chairs, beach toys, sunscreen, goggles, and even coolers. In a pinch you could have an easy fix coming here.

Unfortunately, this location is a long way from being the type of Brooks Brothers shopping experience I've come to expect. From walking in, I was all-but completely ignored. Eventually, I sought someone out to point me to a fitting room. I asked the same salesman if they had a different fit of the trousers I tried on, and was instead given sizing information for shirts, not trousers. When I tried to pay, I was ignored at the checkout counter while the man and woman were having a separate conversation. Then they debated between them who was going to check me out, with the woman saying in front of me: "I can do it if you want." I've never seen people try so hard to not earn a sale. If I wasn't there with a specific purpose to re-stock because there isn't a BB store near where I currently live, I would have walked out. The clothes are still great, but this is now the second consecutive Brooks Brothers store I've been to with very poor service, the other being the Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, GA, which was even worse than this one.

They had a lot to choose from between shirts and shoes, which is what we were looking for. We ended up purchasing quite a bit and went twice. I got a pair of cute Croc sandals, my boyfriend got the sandals he wanted and we got shirts for family members as well as some other items. The shoes were priced very fairly. They were double the price at other stores in the area. Make sure to check the back of your receipt so you can use the discount if you go back. We weren't aware of the discount on the back of our first receipt so we didn't take it with us when we went the second time. Jose checked us out the second time and told us about the discount on the back so we knew for the future. We said we had already been there a few days before and wished we had been told by Massiel so we would have brought the previous receipt with us bc we spend about $100 each time. It would have saved us 15% the second time.
