THIS PLACE IS Amazing. Do not bother wasting another moment of your time anywhere else!!!! Absolutely blown away by the amazing service I got here. Alex, Jesse, and the wonderful tech guy whose name I can't remember (so sorry) truly went above and beyond and I simply cannot recommend BCR more. Before BCR, I had always gone back to the dealership for service and been wildly disappointed with service and issues dragging on for weeks on end and getting charged ridiculous pricing. Today, I am so happy to say, the cycle has officially been broken! My sweet husband Bought me a beautiful new SE from out of state from a "reputable" dealer, and it arrived with the check engine light on, covered in dirt, weeks late. The entire vehicle was questionable and needed inspection from an objective source. I was so upset and disappointed by the entire situation - Despite my anger and frustrations, I called BCR for some help hoping they could come to my rescue - AND BOY THEY SURE DID!!! They not only saved the day, but went above and beyond. I will now never go anywhere else! (I hope you guys like talking to me, because I am officially a customer for life - you will be seeing me every six months to a year for my regular service, as I will drive a RR until I die. You will also be seeing all of my family members who also drive Rovers.) My experience was this: They picked up their phone on my first ring, immediately explained their process, and were SO TRANSPARENT with their extremely reasonable / inexpensive pricing right off the bat. I was in SUCH a bad mood when I called, and within 30 seconds of our call, Alex was able to calm me, reassure me, and handled the situation better than most husbands handle angry wives. 10 gold stars. Yesterday morning, I called at 8:05a, I arrived at 9:45a, and even though they were working on several other cars, I was greeted immediately with someone RUNNING up to my car, addressed me by my NAME as they were expecting me, and then to made sure that I got immediate attention with a friendly smile. I met with Alex who had me checked in & out in less than 3 minutes, all while making sure I had water & transportation organized. After leaving my vehicle there for them to diagnose, I was so surprised to hear that by 1:45PM that day they had ALREADY gotten back to me with updates, given the entire car and tech a thorough once over, and diagnosed the problem, and were calling to confirm I was good to go ahead with the not - so - easy fix. But of course they handled it perfectly. The car has a custom matte wrap on it (requires special washing) and even though the vehicle having a thick layer dirt on it from careless transport (it was supposed to be transported enclosed and the sending dealership dropped the ball on this) was NOT their problem, BCR got in touch with a detail specialist who was able to come out and detail the car while it was STILL IN THEIR POSSESSION and bring it back to a pristine new. ALL IN THE SAME DAY THEY INITIATED AND HANDLED THIS. 10 more gold stars. The car was ready for me to pick up in less than 24 hours from the time I dropped it off, and I didn't even have to ask them to move quickly. They understood the situation, made me a priority, communicated effectively and without wasting my time, moved with a sense of urgency, with full knowledge of all of the quirks of Range Rovers (IYKYK), and did a better job than any other actual Land Rover dealership I have EVER worked with. This same issue would have taken weeks if it was handled elsewhere (this is my 5th Rover and not the first time I have dealt with this problem, so I'm very familiar from past experience). I have never received the care, attention to detail, fairness, and seen the true knowledge of rovers as perfectly displayed as I just experienced. I typically dread scheduling service for my vehicle as it always is such a major inconvenience, and I always feel like I'm getting screwed over. BCR has eliminated that feeling for me, and I am SO relieved that I now have them as an amazing source to come back to anytime I need anything. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! NEVER THOUGHT ID SAY THIS to a place that's servicing my vehicle, but I'm actually looking forward to seeing you all next time!!!

Range Rovers and Jaguars.........................so pretty and luxurious but as with a lot of cars that are new and full of more electronics than the Space Shuttle Orbiter, it takes seriously well trained and knowledgeable people to handle such complex machinery consisting of mechanics, electric and drive train. Sure, if your car is under warranty feel free to go to the Dealership, you might get your car back in a month. At BCR, Jesse (owner) and Alex (Service Manager) have your back, they are upfront, honest and make those issues with your British luxury ride go away and you will be back on the road. What I like best about these fellas is that when you bring in your vehicle for an issue, they go the extra mile and inspect all the other points and advise you of what may come and thus recommending preventive maintenance. Personally, I brought in a Jaguar XK8 and it needed things, these fellas did not even bat an eye and now I have it back and it is better than ever. Clear and precise communication from Alex and Jesse made me believe in BCR. Strong Recommend from me and I am a car guy.

Shoutout Alex!! The most lovely helpful kind honest and professional people work here. Highly recommend. Got my Rover checked in like 10 minutes and I will forever get my maintenance done here!

The day after it expires you get an email from Carfax stating from Jiffy Lube listing all your car maintenance details and mileage. They sold my private info to Carfax without telling me and lied as to why they scanned my vin. I will no longer go to jiffy lube. They also refused to give any discount on their overpriced oil change when I couldn't find my coupon in my emails. I was also being pressured for an air filter upsell for $40 when it was mostly white and I told them I had just had it replaced. I thought those days of pressuring unnecessary upsells with threats I was harming my car were in the past. Go elsewhere where they're honest.

5 stars all the way…read more After dealing with a frustrating experience at another repair shop, I brought my 2011 Audi Q5 to Pacific Tire Service Center and I'm so glad I did. Miguel and his team were incredibly thorough, honest, and professional from the start. I originally came in for a check engine light and rough driving issues, but during their inspection, they found additional problems that had been missed -- including failed suspension work and issues related to a previous oil leak repair. Miguel took the time to explain everything clearly, provided before and after photos, and even showed me the actual parts so I could fully understand what was going on. There was also a female mechanic there (I believe she may be one of the owners), and I absolutely loved her. She was knowledgeable, direct, and helped confirm concerns I had about previous repairs. You can tell they genuinely care about doing things the right way instead of just taking your money. What I appreciated most was the honesty. They didn't try to upsell me or pressure me -- they gave me real information and helped me make the best decision for my car. Finding a trustworthy mechanic is hard, and this shop gave me peace of mind. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others.

The technician Hector that helped me today was extremely unprofessional, careless, and irresponsible. If I could give 0 stars I would, because customer service from him was the beyond terrible. Background: I came in there for a normal oil change around 9:45am in the morning. There was only one other car there and overall didn't seem too busy. However the technician that came to help me had a persistent cough that day so I kept my window half up as a protective barrier. He constantly coughed through our conversation (which normally I wouldn't mind from anyone) but the fact he would cough openly without a mask or would not at least cough into the elbow made me extremely uneasy. I'd often have to ask him to repeat himself because his coughs made it difficult to understand him and he became very frustrated by this. He blamed me for keeping my window up as the issues for not hearing him (but I've done this at other locations and never had an issue), blamed my window up for why my tap to pay wouldn't work , and then tapped aggressively on my window to bring it down (which I would not do as I was also protecting my family inside who witnessed his awful behavior). Eventually I had to pay with my card which worked, but he returned it with oil marks left all over my white card. I had to ask for a napkin to wipe the oil off my card and my hands, but 1) I'm pretty sure that's a safety hazard getting oil on the customer and 2) he certainly was not changing gloves as needed according to the valvoline health and safety guidelines. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand if you need to work while sick or with a cough, but it's completely unprofessional to be rude to your customers for your lack of hygiene.

Fair enough. I stood there patiently at the front desk for about five minutes, fully visible, and got absolutely no acknowledgment. No glance, no gesture, no wave. Nada. With the clock ticking and closing time creeping, I went back to my car to restart my search; stressed and sitting there with a sagging tire. Then I saw Eric and his coworker out front. They looked friendly, available, and most importantly, present. I walked over, Eric came to take a look, quickly assessed the situation, had me pull the car up, and got straight to work. He handled it quickly, efficiently, and right before closing time. I didn't have cash on me, but this review is the least I could do after he quite literally did the heavy lifting. If it weren't for Eric, this would have been a very different review. Funny how often the people furthest from the front desk are the ones actually carrying the business. Some people hold the title. Some people do the tire lifting. Eric is clearly the latter. So yes, 5 stars for Eric. In this little roadside drama, he was the fix, while others felt more like the nail in the tire, expecting the other three wheels to do all the work. Thank you, Eric, for the hospitality, the efficiency, and for working right up against the clock.

I have been going to this location for three years, but I've been going to Firestone for over a…read moredecade for my repair needs. For about two and a half of those years, I had very few issues and the staff was generally pleasant. Most of the problems have started within the last six months. Six months ago, I went in for an oil change and an alignment. This was a standard service. The first thing they did was try to upsell me on a new battery. I had replaced my battery one month prior. When I asked them to show me the battery readings, they refused. They also tried to upsell me on several fluids and a cabin filter replacement without showing me the condition of my current cabin filter. Before the service even began, I told them very clearly that I did not want to be sold anything and that I only wanted an oil change and an alignment. We went back and forth for five minutes before they finally gave me my keys back. Strike one. The next issue involved a TPMS sensor replacement. They quoted me $185 per sensor and told me over the phone that they would price match any competitor, guaranteeing they are the lowest price out there. I obtained a quote from Big Brand Tires for $103 per sensor. I called Firestone back and explained that I had a printed invoice showing the lower price. They refused to acknowledge that they had made this guarantee and told me the price was not negotiable. Strike two. Yesterday, I called to get a quote for an engine tune up. They put me on hold for twenty minutes. I called back and was told they were very busy, but that if I left my number they would call me back within half an hour that afternoon. I left my number and never received a call. Today, I called again for a quote. The person who answered said he needed to get the service manager and then put me on hold for nearly thirty minutes. Since I was already in El Segundo, I decided to drive to the shop while still on hold because this had become ridiculous. Two minutes before I arrived, the call dropped after sitting on hold for so long. When I walked into the shop, there was a single employee sitting behind the desk with no customers around him. He was not helping anyone and did not appear busy. I told him that I had been left on hold for nearly thirty minutes. He offered no apology and barely acknowledged the issue. He then spent ten minutes putting together an incomplete engine tune up quote that did not include all of the services I would likely need, clearly setting things up to upsell me later. To make matters worse, there was a sign posted in front of the computers that read, "The best experience begins on the phone." Based on my experience over two consecutive days, that statement is laughably ironic. Strike three. They are out. I am no longer willing to give Firestone any more of my money, and I have been their customer for over a decade. The only reason I may return is because I prepaid years ago for a lifetime alignment when I bought my car. If they attempt to upsell me during that visit, I will tell them to stop and give me my keys. If any other shop offers a comparable alignment program, I will never return to Firestone again. For the sake of encouraging better customer service, I strongly recommend that potential customers avoid Firestone, especially the Manhattan Beach location. Getting a car repaired is already an unpleasant experience, and this location seems determined to make it worse rather than better. 2/26 UPDATE JUST FOR KICKS: I was reached out to by the store manager, who offered really nothing more than apologies. No incentives. No reason for me to trust them as a service provider for my car. Although it was a friendly gesture, it didn't really remedy anything. I was basically offered the same thing from the BS "socialcare@bfrc.com" e-mail response to my Yelp review: "we are sorry for the inconvenience." They are really doing a good job of cementing my stance that I will not be using them again.
