Got the camper all set up and was settled in for the evening. We got a knock on the door and the guy says this is his spot, he had reserved it online yesterday. Okay no problem we packed up and moved our camper. No argument from us. My question is why didn't the day workers mark the spot as reserved? Also there were stickers everywhere in the grass, we had to scrape them off of our shoes after walking In or out of the camper. When walking the dog we stayed on the pavement. Other campers were complaining about the same issue. This was not a good experience for us!

I scurried down the bluff of the sand dune to wander among the wildflower but still saw no water. This campground is very far from the water if that's your goal. The bathrooms were well maintained. We did not use but there were also showers available in exchange for tokens via cash taking machine. Recommend bringing small bills if would like a shower! Very dark skies, wonderful for seeing stars!

The views are absolutely beautiful -- wide open skies, calming water, and just that tranquil energy that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. If you're up for a tiny adventure, there's a slight climb down where you can access the caves and get closer to the water. It's such a cool experience and definitely worth it if you don't mind a little exploring. Whether you're looking for a quiet moment, a scenic drive stop, or a mini adventure, Lake Mac delivers. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly understanding, welcoming, and, most of all, kind. The facility is extremely organized, well-maintained, and very clean. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, including our additional vehicles, which we truly appreciated given the circumstances. After a long and stressful day of traveling, it was such a relief to find a place where we were treated so well. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this RV park!

The grounds are beautifully maintained, the sites are attractive and well-kept, and everything feels thoughtfully cared for. A special thank you to Kristy and Angel, whose hospitality helped make our stay even more enjoyable. They even stayed open a little later than normal to welcome us after a long day of traveling, which was greatly appreciated. The campground may be on the smaller side, but it is absolutely bursting with thoughtful touches. The bathrooms were spotless and stocked with real paper towels and quality toilet paper--small details that did not go unnoticed and really enhanced the experience. We also appreciated the two pet areas, along with several sites that feature fenced-in play yards. The back sites are especially charming, with nice grassy areas that add to the relaxing atmosphere. The freeway is nearby, and while you can hear some traffic noise, it was not bothersome and certainly did not take away from our enjoyment of the campground. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We wanted for nothing during our stay. Saying we liked this park would be an understatement. This KOA not only lives up to the KOA standard--it exceeds it. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The greens which are huge were in perfect shape. It takes time to learn the design philosophy here. Lots of ravines and scrub you need to carry on your drives but wide fairways beyond it. Some holes have blind shots because of the rolling terrain but not penal at all. The clubhouse staff was wonderful. A quick lunch at the turn was available and the pace of play was good.
