I happened to stumble upon the Homewood's Paint Your Pet event and was SO happy I did! Since the…read moreeven was tailored to our pets, we had to submit photos prior and the outlines were set for us. My friend and I could request to sit next to each other when we purchased our seats. The prices were more than fair for the amount of work the instructors put in for this event! There was also another paint and sip party in the backroom, the place is larger than you expect looking from the outside. The location is easily accessible and had ample room for a party in the back while we painted our pets out front. Lisa and the other instructor (we only caught one of the instructor's names) were incredibly patient. As someone who isn't very talented in the art department, I didn't feel shamed when I had questions or ran into a problem that I couldn't fix. The two hours flew by and there were many laughs and smiles had by all. It's a really well kept area and I would definitely come back here for another event.

Great fun in a small paint party location tucked in downtown Homewood. I came with a group of 15…read morewomen for a Friday night outing. It is a bright and cheery location with plenty of room to roam. There are actually 2 paint rooms, one larger than the other. Both are decorated in a colorful and whimsical way! As far as food and drinks are concerned, this is a BYOB and bring your own food location, but they supply the plates, napkins, cups, and ice. Our instructor was fun and upbeat, making most anyone feel comfortable to attempt putting paint into canvas! In my group were people who had never done a paint and sip before, but their artwork still turned out beautifully.

I originally wrote this review and was not happy. It was my first time playing airsoft, and the…read morefrustrations I had were partially with the airsoft community of players being slow/unathletic/taking a long time to rest between games. I was used to playing paintball, which has people running more often and faster turn around between games. Blastcamp has a 15 minute rest time between games, and then they call for the next round to start. Players need to show up when called, not stand around and talk for another 15 minutes. That is not the fault of BlastCamp. The field has good rental rifles, and there was always someone on hand to assist with any issues I had, either on or off the field. I never had to wait to address a concern I had. The refs are safety-focused, professional, and omnipresent. There are a few things that, if changed, would turn my 4 star review into a 5 star review. Consistent rules. Full auto is not allowed, which is fine, but anyone who walks in with an LMG gets to ignore that rule. It really frustrated the game my kids were on. Either full auto is allowed for everyone, or no one. Just because you bring something doesn't mean the rules are ignored for you. Better use of space We had a better time with the Cobra- Black Hawk Down event, where most of the property was used. When we played the pickup game weeks earlier, there were rounds where the spawn locations for both teams were right next to each other. After you cross one bush or building, you were shooting at their spawn. Blastcamp has the space; use it, or everyone is getting spawn camped. There were players creeping up on spawns in the BHD event too, but it wasn't because of a tiny play field. Dud replacement I was frustrated when I bought grenades from the desk, but the one for me was a dud. I did this in front of a ref and he said "yeah, that happens, sorry." If I could get a free replacement when that happened, it would encourage me to buy grenades. As it stands, NO ONE SHOULD BUY GRENADES. The only grenade you should use is a "reusable compressed air grenade". The rule is anyone within a certain distance of it is counted as dead when it goes off. Smoke is illegal to use indoors, which is the only place where it is useful if there is any wind. The management is client focused and helpful. Everyone involved did make every effort to engage us and ensure everyone was having a good time.
