If there were more people there we would definitely not fit. The machines overlap so it's hard if someone is working out in the area already. On a positive note, they are moving to a new location. Lee Ann is the owner and she's very personable and helpful to all the folks that go there. It's nice because we can go as early as 5;00 Am with the Kisi app that opens the door for you. The gym itself is spotlessly clean. Equipment is in great shape and there is plenty of it. People who go there are all really quite nice and friendly. No attitudes here. Personal training is available if you want to go that route. Daily, weekly, monthly plans are available and there are no initiation or other BS fees. If you're looking for a place to workout without the drama, this is the place for you. I like to support women who are business people when I can. I know the difference between 'good', 'average' and 'bad' when it comes to PT's. I'm a Male in my early 60's who is focused on Power Lifting training and wants someone to have an eagle eye in form/technique to mitigate risk of injury and to optimize my time in the gym. In my eyes, 'good' starts with a PT who is prepared (the plan is set before I arrive for the session, not 'made up on the fly'), a PT who engaged throughout the session, monitoring technique/ensuring good form to mitigate injury risk and who is personable/fun to work with while not being afraid to push me to heights/challenges I likely wouldn't take on by myself. Andrew Cao, the Director of the St Pete location, is a very good leader and sets the tone for the high levels of professionalism that each of the trainers exhibit as I watch them work with their clients. My trainer, Joe Cameron, has been exceptional to work with & is beyond 'good' as outlined above. - The gym is never 'packed' (5 clients at one time is max I've seen during my 3 months and it's busy w/out being claustrophobic). - You are greeted warmly, by name, by all upon arrival, - the facility has all the major equipment you need - the 'Trainerize' app they use is the best I've encountered in my fitness journey and is comprehensive re: exercise (w/videos available for every movement), food, water & steps tracking all-in-one. - the place is as clean as a whistle with towels provided along with home brewed Nitro Coffee. When I was brand new all of the coaches would introduce themselves to me and even have everyone else introduce themselves. It made it more comfortable for me to get to know everyone and also feel like I was a part of their community right away. Plus during the workouts they give great feedback to make sure you have the right form and so that you can do the workout in a more efficient and safe way. They definitely make you want to push yourself more and do your best during the workouts. I recommend doing they're free intro class and checking it out. When COVID happen, they immediately started doing Zoom classes and made sure that we were all still part of a community that is focused towards fitness and supporting each other. The gym has also been clean and they done an amazing job at keeping social distance between members and cleaning up after each class.

The box: it is enormous! Tons of space so you never feel like you are on top of each other during a work out. They keep it VERY clean and have tons of nice/newer equipment. There is a small daycare space which is not regulated or monitored by anyone, but it is clean and there is a little fence if you bring a small child (I don't have kids so this is just an observation). They have 2 bathrooms/changing rooms which is plenty (no showers). They have a lot of classes, everyday of the week! Monday-Friday are the busiest days, but they have enough class options to fit most schedules. Coaching staff: this is an incredible bunch. The head coach, Darren, is the most energetic and positive human you could encounter. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. No matter how large the class size, you have consistent one-on-one style coaching to improve technique or to motivate your through the workout. While they are very encouraging, they are also very careful on how far they push you. They are all extremely cautious in your form and are advocates for you to perfect the movements before trying to lift heavier. This was the one part of crossfit that intimidated me at first, but if you are not able to do a movement they will have a scaled exercise for you to accomplish your goals. The members: what a friendly and welcoming group! From the first day I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. There are all ages, body types, abilities and sizes and everyone is just SO darn encouraging. It makes for a competitive and wonderful workout atmosphere for anyone. If you are looking for a box or to give something new a whirl, this gym is great and I highly recommend giving it a try! I don't think you will be disappointed. If you are new to exercising or new to crossfit, don't worry because this group will ease you into a comfortable and great workout routine.
