Beach & Son towing was sent to assist me through my insurance company's roadside assistance for a flat tire repair. However, due to a stripped bolt/lug nut the truck had to be towed. This is when the experience turned for the worse. After my first tow truck driver drove off with my truck's 4WD system engaged, I called their main office to inform them of the mishap, which concerned me because dragging a truck while in "park" puts tons of pressure on the transmission and can cause damage. That being said, after explaining this to Ronda, Beach & Son's office receptionist, I was treated dismissively and without apology. I had to ask Ronda why she was ushering me off the phone and acting as if my call was not important to which she answered "I have a driver calling me." I know running a business is a lot of work, but it's a true test of a character when times are hard, especially when your business has made an error, but in this situation B/S towing failed. I do want to be clear, they did offer to have their recommended transmission shop inspect my car, but when I asked about the logistics and details of how this process was to be completed, Ronda became curt and ornery. For example, I asked for her the business's phone number and she rattled it off so fast I could barely understand, so I asked her to repeat it and I shared that she had said it too fast initially to which she replied "we're in the phone book." People do not have to call you names or hurt you to be cruel, manner and tone work just as well, and Ronda's manner and tone made me feel neglected and unimportant. At several points in our conversation I asked why I was being treated in such a poor manner and she even said "let's start this over," only to once again fall back into her combative manner. My hope is that they improve their customer service and simply say sorry when they've made a mistake. We have to treat each other with respect and compassion, so I only wish this company success and professional growth in the future. read more

Garbage service!!! Over 2 hours to have someone go out to my location. Once the tow truck picked up my vehicle, they took over 1 hour to deliver my vehicle. When I called their office, I was told the man had stopped to take care of another job. When I asked the man if it's common for Beach and Son to take other jobs before delivering a customer's vehicle, the man got hostile and said "call the if you have a problem". Overall, took 4 hours to get my vehicle picked up and delivered. I do not recommend Beach and Son and suggest you choose a better provider. read more

Water hose blew out as I was towing my travel tailor about 4 miles up the grade out of Ocotillo. Waited 7 hours for Nationwide to send me a tow via the Agero "roadside subcontractor" which they never did. A Beach & Son Towing noticed me on the road and after doing another call came by just to see if he could help me in some way. I'm thankful that Beach & Son Towing came back to help me even though they were NOT assigned the job. The tow operator bypassed my broken heater core, we filled the truck up with water and he followed me almost all the way home. All for no cost! I'm thankful for workers like the one that helped me on 7/11/23 as I sat on the side of the road in the heat of the day. Some people follow the golden rule, I con only hope to repay the kind gesture and will recommend Beach & son Towing to anyone. They cared enough to stop while Nationwide / Agero never did anything while I waited in the heat of the day for over 7.5 hours, even after repeated calls from the CHP on the help box. I needed roadside assistance for a blow out. When the driver came, he began to lower the bed and advised me that he is not liable for damages due to the low front end. When I asked if he can just change blowout with a spare, he said "Damn dog. You should of mentioned that before." I immediately got offended and told the guy "don't worry. I'll take care of it. Just go." He said I'll do it. I told him no because of the way he responded to me and infront of my wife. He began to raise his voice to the point to where I began to yell gtfoh, I got this. So he calls his dispatch to report that "I" was out of line. So when he left, I called the company to file a complaint. The elderly woman who was the dispatch immediately said "I got the complaint against you." I said excuse me miss? Your driver began to use foul language and I responded just like anyone would. The dispatch had the audacity to say that she would of responded the same way to me. So I told the lady that the driver is out of line and that she is out of line to respond to me the way she did. Her response to me was "Sir, I'm a 70 year old woman." I responded with "you are older than me and you should have more lifetime experience in respect to others who are customers." I told her to have a good day, I would be calling my insurance company to remove them for local calls, and hung up. What a sad experience. read more

Was letting me know that it's been 30 days since they dropped off the car to a dealer she wouldn't be able to do anything about it and told me to take her to court ! Careful with this place. They are not complaint with the AB-2392 Vehicles: towing and storage. They don't give itemized bill and over charge on their rates. They over calculated on the posted signs. (c) (1) All towing and storage fees charged when those services are performed as a result of an accident or recovery of a stolen vehicle shall be reasonable. (B) A storage rate and fee shall also be deemed reasonable if it is comparable to storage-related rates and fees charged by other facilities in the same locale. This does not preclude a rate or fee that is higher or lower if it is otherwise reasonable. Prior to receiving payment for any towing, recovery, or storage-related fees, a facility that charges for towing or storage, or both, shall provide an itemized invoice of actual charges to the vehicle owner or his or her agent. If an automotive repair dealer, registered pursuant to Article 3 (commencing with Section 9884) of Chapter 20.3 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code, did not provide the tow, and passes along, from the tower to the consumer, any of the information required on the itemized invoice, pursuant to subdivision (g) the automotive repair dealer shall not be responsible for the accuracy of those items of information that remain unaltered. July 2015 we had a blowout on our way home from a mini vacation and found ourselves without a jack, without tools and with the BEST tow company to our rescue! Can't believe no one has reviewed this company yet. Got the back wheels of our GMC van stuck DEEP in the sand while trying to turn around in an area south of the BLM Hot Springs LTVA near Holtville. Not a person around to help for who knows how many miles. Tried sticks and stones...an even dumber idea than trying to turn around! 911 operator gave us two businesses to call. The one nearest to us in Holtville was rude. Said he didn't have a 4-wheel drive. Couldn't help us. Gave me some 1-800 number to call. Yeah, right. Didn't want to be sitting in the deserted desert in the dark waiting for Joe No-name from Mystery Towing to show up-or maybe not so I called Beach and Sons. Very good move. Placed the call just before 3pm and Jason showed up less than 30 minutes later! Needless to say I was very relieved to see him! Now that's service! He really knows his stuff, too! We were thinking there was no way to pull us out, since it was super loose sand behind us and the same on the opposite side of the road in front of us. How in the heck would we get out of this mess? Jason flew over that sandy mess behind us, let a bunch of air out of his 11,000 pound truck's tires, hooked the tow strap to our back end, hopped into his truck, gave it some gas and "whoosh" we were OUT of those holes! He came well-equipped too. Grabbed his shovel from the truck, filled in those holes, reconnected the tow strap to the front, gave it a good tug and we were on solid road again. YAY! Jason saved the day! He was very nice too. Says this happens all the time. A very deceiving area. Sand has a hard crust but once you break thru it, soft sand is underneath. Hard to know that till its too late. Although it was $150, it was worth it. After all, round trip was about 40 miles for him and it wasn't a typical "my car broke down and needs to go to the garage" situation. Highly recommend Beach and Sons if ever get stuck in the desert sand around El Centro area. read more

Wouldn't acknowledge him when my dad would speak to him or even answer him when he asked a question. Even got worse when my husband showed up. Treated my husband the same way. I called this company on Friday night due to a tire blowout on my utility trailer hauling two quads. The tire damaged the trailer fender making it untowable without using a flatbed. Beach made arrangements to use a bigger truck to accommodate the quads and trailer. I was 30 miles east of El Centro on I-8. They offered to tow my trailer and quads and store them overnight with no storage fee on their secure lot. I was on a day trip and had no way to secure the quads. I live in San Diego. Fortunately I had a friend who was able to get me on the road again after a couple hours. Beach and Sons provided excellent customer service. Instead of being upset about me cancelling the tow, the representative was happy we were able to get on our way without spending money. I definitely recommend using them.
