I highly recommend her for your Physio needs. They are also very strict with their PPE/social distancing measures and the clinic is very clean. Only downside is they make you take off your clean mask to replace with either your own unused mask or pay for one of their own. This defeats the keep mask on at all times purpose . So technically, if another patron had asymptomatic Covid symptoms and took their mask on/off hence dispersing the virus, I'm more likely to get virus too because I had to switch my mask when I entered clinic. Makes no sense to me. Aside from a soiled mask I think this mask protocol is overkill. Hence ~ 4 stars

I was experiencing the worst neck pain of my entire life last week and it was really making my day-to-day tasks unbearable. For 6 whole days I was taking cabs to work because walking hurt too much, I couldn't sleep and no amount of tiger balm and advil seemed to be helping. A friend suggested a massage, but I had never been for one before and was doubtful that it would really do much of anything. Regardless, I started searching around for a RMT and after reading the wonderful Yelp reviews, decided to give Gesund a shot. Despite being completely out of my element, my mind and worries were immediately put at ease upon entering the premises. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. My RMT, Yvonne, took the time to figure out where I was experiencing pain and explained what she was going to do to help me. She made me feel very comfortable and I could tell that she genuinely wanted to alleviate the pain that I was experiencing. It's remarkably evident that she loves what she does and that's she is exceptional at it. After my massage, Yvonne showed me techniques that I could do at home to continue treatment on my neck. She even sent me an e-mail recapping these techniques for my reference. By the next day my neck was almost 100% better and I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be returning to Gesund and I highly recommend it!

Okay, I don't know why I've never heard of RMT Movement before because they've been around for…read moreyears and they're literally the first place that pops up when you google 'massage Brampton'. Anyways, thankfully my gf discovered them and recommended I try them out. Best decision ever. First of all, their online booking system is hella convenient. In addition, surprise, surprise, TONS of evening and weekend options available. They're even open on Sundays! It's really hard to book last minute evening or weekend massages, but they're pretty flexible here. I had booked a Saturday appointment for the first weekend in November with Leana (my friend recommended her, after a session with her), but my body was super sore I couldn't take it anymore. I booked for the soonest weeknight, which was 5 days away. They also have the option to fill out your pre-appointment forms online, which again, totally convenient! When you get there, there are no forms to fill out. Simply just have a seat and wait. While chatting with Leana, she mentioned they had only been at this current location for about a month. Lucky for me, this is closer to my home. I like how they have diffusers with different oils, but I wish they would blast the mist or pour in more drops cuz I'm tryna breathe all those good scents in lol. Anyways, Leana was great. She got a sense of my stiffness and what was bugging me by making me do some stretches before the actual massage. She applied a heating pad to my sore back and shoulders while she worked on my legs. I have never had this done before. I like when new and different techniques are introduced to me. It's totally boring when people do the same techniques over and over. She definitely got the knots out of my shoulders. This is what was bothering me the most. She also smoothed out my neck muscles and I had way more mobility after. I feel way better now and I can't wait to return in two weeks!

Since this is a massage therapy, I expected a little bit of deeper pressure, and personally for me, I prefer that. It might not be everyone else's preference. There is a bit of a language barrier, but since I have been receiving all my treatments from the same RMT, it took about a couple of sessions before she and I worked out the amount of pressure and on what certain parts of the body as well. I just learned to speak up if I want something to change. Massage therapies are soothing, however there would be times when I hear staff talking, walking by, or having lunch (since the kitchen is close to the massage rooms). My regular massage therapist had to cancel last minute and since I was in so much pain I booked a last minute massage here. I told the massage therapist that I had really aggravated my post concussion symptoms, so she thought a good idea would be applying pressure to the middle of my head and massaging that area. Not a good idea as it caused much further aggravation. I told my chiropractor, regular massage therapist, and family doctor what happened, and they were just absolutely baffled why a therapist would do that to a post concussion syndrome client and confirmed that this has what led to a major setback for me. I informed the office of what happened but no response. I'm sure this place is OK for relaxation massages but don't make the same mistake I did and come here for more serious muscular and nerve issues.

There is a huge sign on the wall that says QUIET, the massage ladies talked the whole time, it was not relaxing at all listening to their chatter. The basement was in fact dark and dingy. The chairs we sat in were covered in towels, who knows if they were clean. Before leaving my house, I carefully counted my cash and brought the exact amount needed for the massage. When I handed him the money, he did not count it in front of me. A few seconds later, he came back and claimed that I was $10 short. I am certain I gave the exact amount, so I believe I was unfairly charged an extra $10. The situation felt dishonest and very upsetting. In my opinion, he handled the payment in an unprofessional way, and I felt as though I had been taken advantage of. Guys be very careful when paying cash make sure to count in front of them before leaving the counter. On the other hand, the female receptionist I spoke with was kind, polite, and helpful. I hope that if I return for another massage with Jessica, I won't have to deal with the same gentleman again because this experience left a very bad impression.
