Overall simplistic but nice mural in a neighborhood that might be the home of the cities finest public art. It does not Quite stand up to the areas other murals but I do enjoy the positive message.

It's a cool looking one to check out we saw it at night time so it's kind of dark would like to check it out again during the day.

Memorial was created by Mark Trier it is in honor of the navy candidates who trained for world war 2 at the university of Louisville campus. Overall very nicely done Memorial and full of historic information. I for one had no idea the campus houses areas for trainees for the navy during world war 2. So was very cool to learn about and discover.

Located in the popular highlands neighborhood of Louisville this piece of public art mural hangs high above another mural Carmichael kids as it's actually at the top of Carmichael's kids. So I'm assuming the upstairs is a different tenant as hunter s Thompson art doesn't exactly vibe or go hand in hand with a children's bookstore. Overall a cool and interesting addition to the rapidly growing Lousiville public art scene. Me and my buddy and fellow yelper Jeremy J has had a fun time going around neighborhoods and finding pieces like this one and learning about them.

It is right outside the eagle restaurant on the left if you were staring at the Eagle. Accompanies the electric butterfly mural that is right across from it. FST mural is located in the downtown Lousiville neighborhood of Portland…read more This very brightly colored mural has taken the place of a previous mural that was vandalized. Much like the last mural that one features a man face whom I'm not familiar with and has the FST initials which I've seen on a few other downtown murals. Overall I'm not sure the message, subject art or who or what FST is but o enjoy this moral. It has nice darker colors that make it pop brightly and is well done.
