Russell neighborhood underpass mural is westend neighborhood of Lousiville. As you enter into the…read moreRussell portion they have painted up the top of the underpass along with the insides and outside. Really creative use of public art. The murals filled with motivational words and people that I assume have some sort of connection to this neighborhood. Very busy road so if if photographing you may want to street park or put hazard lights on and drive slowly. Overall a really cool and nice tribute for that particular neighborhood. Some very cool looking paintings on This underpass.

Very cool and extensive public wall art mural in the highlands neighborhood off Baxter ave in…read moreLousiville Kentucky. Located across the entire rear of a commercial building. This piece features the lovable and child favorite minions characters in a very fun and colorful piece. Also this piece is located next to a few other cool local pieces. If you follow the side of the very same building you will see the Spanish woman mural which is also really cool. Overall I like this mural a lot. It's a lot of fun. My kids obviously grew up on despicable me and minions so they absolutely love this piece. Great addition to the area and the Louisville public art scene as a whole.

Shelby park is a Lousiville neighborhood rich of cool public art and this is one fo my favorite ones. I enjoy the simple yet creative bubbles and colors and the message is very true and positive. Overall a great addition for the Lousiville public art mural scene and makes for good photos ops. You can sometimes catch glimpses of this piece from the expressway so that's always cool.

Located on the outskirts of Shelby park this like many of the several other Shelby park murals is very vibrant and very well done. Pushing a very positive message as well. Overall very cool piece that we discovered by accident while on our way to dine at nearby comeback inn. We spotted while street parking for the place so me and the family made a bee line down the road to check this mural that captures our eye. Glad we did. Nice addition to the public art scene in the area.
