We Stopped by this historical marker in front of the Shepherdsville courthouse while walking…read morethrough downtown. It's a nice little piece of local history about Adam Shepherd and how the town got started. The sign is well kept and easy to read, but it's really just a quick stop -- not much else around it besides the courthouse lawn. Worth a look if you're already in the area, but probably not something you'd go out of your way to see. Glad to see Shepherdsville is adding all their historical significance

These letter winners are names of several former athletes that played sports at university of Louisville and has info on active years and the sports played. Overall pretty cool honor for the former athletes of the school. As a big Lousiville sports fan I enjoy reading and seeing the history.

This particular marker is located on south 4th street in louisville Kentucky in the theatre square portion of town. Each marker has a story about what occurred at sit in a longe with dates and other historical information. This particular one took place at was once called Mary Anderson theatre. Overall this are really cool tributes and honors to some of the local history in the city of Lousiville and hold significant historical information.

It reads, "The Associated Advertising Clubs of America met at Galt House, on this site, for their fifth annual convention, 1909. Led by Samuel C. Dobbs, the convention took united action to challenge false advertising. This stand began concept of the Better Business Bureau. By 1918, the Louisville Better Business Bureau, third in the nation, received its charter." Today, the Better Business Bureau is 106 separate independently incorporated oranigzations in the United States and Canada under the International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB) in Arlington, Virginia. Created by a local artist for the downtown area this is a fun designed park bench that doubles as a place to sit and a fun piece of public art work. Overall always fun to see and experience local treasures in the city. There is a placard on the ground that has the artist name as well. So it's great to give these artists there shout outs too for making our city more appealing artistically.

Tucked right around the corner from the hospital registration area the small enclosed sculpture is a nice piece for the hospital and has a hopeful and appropriate name of healers touch. Overall it's always nice discovering new public art and finding them. This was a nice surprise while visiting a family member at a hospital.
