They shorted me on time. 2 women who sat down at the same time as me got up at the same time as me, when I asked about it, I was told the massagers decided to extend their time but they still got to pay a 20 minute price while I had to pay 30 minutes, when I didn't receive a 30 minute massage. One of the secrets to enjoyable travel is taking the opportunituy to indulge in a bit of personal time amidst the hubbub of the experience. That was the case for me on Thursday, 5/22/25 as I journeyed home to Loas Angeles from Frankfurt via DTW. Having time on my hands and my hands themselves in rough shape, including two hangnails, I happened upon the Be Relax location on the concourse. Timing and luck were on my side and Reven was able to attend to me immediately with a manicure to get me back in the game. Yes, the service was top-notch quality, including a sea-salt scrub that left my hands feel smooth and envigorated. But more importantly, the services included time chatting with an insightful professional which allowed me to relax and appreciate the services while also capturing the benefit of positive social engagement. Occuring during an 18 hour travel day comprised of sitting in aluminum tubes alnoe among a crowd and only stimulated by either the seat back entertainment or other self-provided distractions, this time of quality social engagement was an additional restorative. The next time you are transiting through DTW and you have the time (took about 35 minutes or so for a manicure), avail yoursel of the opportunity meet Reven and partake of her nail care services.
