Great little artsy gift shop. Lots of cool boutique artist - Latino and Asian. Some very cool Japanese super cute stuff! Super friendly staff/owners. Latina X owned. Also community center supporting LGBTQ, women's and immigrant rights. Support your local women owned business! This is a gem of a find you will find something super unique cute here especially if you like cats or doggies!

Really cool lil stickers. :D lol. Price starts at $4 bucks.

Be Nice Have Fun is a cute small Latinx-owned stationery shop on York Blvd. They sell a wide variety of items such as cards, stickers, t-shirts, sweaters, tote bags, books, candles, etc. Store has huge exposed brick walls and a very spacious layout. Prices are ridiculously expensive. Atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. Overall, it's a nice stationary shop.

Pretty sure you'll find something you can gift this Christmas/holidays! I don't know about you but I'm pretty excited with my gift finds and if I was the one receiving them I'll feel extra grateful these gifts were well thought out out and one of a kind! This is a cool spot of well curated shop of local artists and there's something for all ages! My 3 yo especially loves the slime and squishy corner and wanted to get them all! One major factor I know I'll be coming back here for is the owner and staff are super nice and remembers you! I love that I only been here twice and they remember me!

What a fun shop! Super bright and colorful and a happy place for me to be and browse and always find something new to take home. Their sticker wall is amazing and constantly rotates with fun stickers. The shop owner and their dog are so sweet and friendly, I love stopping by and supporting a friendly BIPOC space. Next time you're looking for a unique gift or card, or heck if you want to treat yourself to something cute and fun, please stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I love this place. Not only is it a beautiful shop, but a lovely community of women too! They have such unique items and party supplies and amazing workshops and events! I went to a sugar skull paint and sip and highly recommend trying their events!

I came here looking for a card and wrapping paper for my friend's bridal shower, and boy did I find it. This place is really cute, the prices are good, and they have a lot of unique items you won't find in any other party decoration store. 10/10, will be coming back. Check out the card and wrapping paper.

So many really cool pieces you can spend hours here. When I found out it was Latinx owned I knew I had to support.

Erin was incredibly easy to work with and super accommodating. The shop has a great open space in the back, which was perfect for the party. Erin assembled a beautiful selection of succulents, colored sand, shells, moss, and other unique accents, and led the girls through a fun and easy-to-follow tutorial on how to build their own terrariums. The vibe was very cool and creative. The girls had the best time making their gorgeous little creations, while the parents enjoyed browsing the shop's thoughtfully curated selection of goods. Erin and Sien were both wonderfully engaging and added so much to the experience. After the workshop, the girls walked over to Ice Cream Luv just a few doors down to wrap up the celebration with a sweet treat. It was the perfect afternoon at a perfect location for a memorable birthday party. This venue would also be ideal for Girl Scouts or other group gatherings--fun, educational, hands-on, well-priced, and in a warm, welcoming space. Thank you, Acorn Eagle Rock!

Currently Shorthand has 3 locations - Highland Park, Larchmont Village, and San Anselmo. This Highland Park location is the flagship location. [Parking]: There are plenty of metered parking spots and paid public parking lots, but parking can be hard to come by during busy shopping seasons. [Selection]: The shop offers greeting cards, pens, notebooks, pen, pencils, gift wraps, etc. I like the greeting card selection a lot better at Shorthand, but I didn't see too many Valentine's Day cards. The shop was a lot more colorful than Crush & Touch as Shorthand organized pens and pencils by color. They also sell really neat hand drawn Highland Park and Eagle Rock maps. The shop also sells various colors of ribbon per yard and gift wrap. Each color of ribbon has a slightly different price. I actually got a red tight weave ribbon for $1.75 per yard and the staff even gave me a slightly extra length. [Gift Wrap Service]: Customers can purchase gifts in store or bring them in from elsewhere. In general, regular (one sheet) = $8, large (two sheets) = $14, and extra large (three sheets+) = $20+. [Conclusion]: A really cute stationery shop with all the supplies for gift wrapping.

I have been shopping here for years, I always find the owner and the staff to be so pleasant and helpful. You can tell that the store is loved and that the buyer (who I think is the owner) is inspired. What I especially like about this store is that all of the clothing is super high quality and is often sourced from other small businesses who are committed to their craft. I have dresses that I purchased from Dotter years ago and I wear them constantly, but they still look like new. The prices are super reasonable especially for the quality and longevity of the items. I love to go here whenever I need to pick up a gift for a friend, I always find the perfect item. I am so happy that Dotter is open again, I've missed being inside of this special store!

I drive @45 minutes to get there and had actually selected a jacket for myself. I tried on the jacket and noticed that there was a $32 discrepancy between the coat on line versus in the store. I waited in the long line (holiday sale prompted throngs) and told (& showed her the jacket I had saved in my phone) the owner what happened. She asked me to wait to check. I waited a good 15 plus minutes during which time her assistant took down the coat from the web site and made it reflect the higher price. Then she brightly asked if I wanted to try it on again and I said no, I need to leave and then she said she wouldn't honor the price that was listed on line stating it was a human error and she was running a small business. I think it is bad form to not honor the price that was listed. She has known than I've brought friends who have spent significant money in her store and I come to her from great distance for years...this was their mistake and I think it's extremely poor form to not honor what was listed. This is customer service at its worse. So much for loyalty. I could easily have bought the jacket on line and picked it up at the store but I thought that would not have integrity. Come to think of it, her actions didn't have integrity. You would think she would cultivate keeping her loyal customer base. What a disappointment.
