I also have to hand it to BJ who did the installations. We spread this project over 3 orders a couple weeks apart to take time figuring out what we needed. Each time, BJ was thorough, thoughtful, and fast. We have black windows throughout the house, which is new for us and made design selections a little trickier, but the results are outstanding. Wil and team went above and beyond to get the colors exactly right and ensure everything was measured and designed to spec for each window. There are way more decisions to make than you realize, so having someone knowledgeable to walk us through the options made all the difference. The results speak for themselves. I wish the photos did them justice! They're even better in person. We went with white 2-inch faux wood blinds (they look awesome with the black windows!), sheer black solar roller shades, and extra-large wood plantation shutters custom painted to match the window trim. Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. They each ensured that I was happy every step of the process and happily accepted my notes/adjustments. When they departed they ensured the house was clean and every detail addressed. Atlanta Painting Company (APC) was hired by our GC to paint our new 6,500 SF $3M primary residence…read more This was literally the worst painting experience of my career and I've developed several billion dollars of residential real estate across the country. APC lacks details and follow-through and lacks the manpower and supervision to complete a quality paint job. They do horrible prep work, which is literally half the battle when it comes to painting. Poor prep work will 100% of the time result in poor paint work. What was originally supposed to be a 30-day paint job turned into a 120-day nightmare where two supervisors were replaced and the third guy couldn't finish the job either so APC pulled offsite and presumably crossed their fingers I would not sue them. APC did such a terrible job on the first round of paint that a new supervisor inspected the work (Alejandro) and was so embarrassed at the quality (or lack thereof) that he brought in a new crew to fix the issues. The second crew was just as bad as the first so they brought in a third crew and a new supervisor (Brent). The third crew did a better job but was unable to resolve dozens of items around the house that literally any other painter could've resolved. I've asked Wes and Chris - the two owners - to complete the job but they refuse. They also are not responding to warranty issues. Our GC builds multimillion dollar homes all over Atlanta and he says APC is by far the worst painter he has ever used. I agree. I don't trust ANY of the 5 star reviews I've read about APC. There's no way 100% of their customers are 100% satisfied with their work. It's terrible quality and they are extremely difficult to work with.
