My lashes were a mess full of excess glue and going in all directions. The upper and lower lashes would stick together. It was a mess. I was driving by Lady Red Lash and decided to stop in and get their opinion of my lashes. It was evident that they weren't good. So, I booked an appointment here for a removal and new, full set. Then the lockdown occured. They actually got me in very quickly once they opened. Oh and just to reassure people, you pull up and call to let them know you're here. They have some lounge chairs out front for you to wait for them to come and get you. The shop is adorable. Lots of products but they don't push any of them on you. Masks are required and social distancing is enforced. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Originally I saw Maria for a classic set. She was awesome and did a great job. It was very obvious that she knew what she was doing and took special precautions to ensure my lashes were perfect. My lashes were a bit damaged from the previous stylist over doing it on the glue and she had cut my lashes for some crazy reason. My lashes are a bit sparse now, so although the lashes looked great, I wanted more volume. So I booked for a Hybrid set. I also got my brows waxed and shaped up. They did an amazing job at both. Erica did my lashes. Unfortunately, I can't remember who shaped my brows. But you can see the before and after results in the pictures.

Following my first session, I noticed significant unevenness and several sparse areas in my brows. I returned for a second session to address these concerns; however, I experienced the same outcome. While my brows initially appeared fuller and more even for about a week, the pigment faded quickly, leaving noticeable bare spots once again. Additionally, the final result appears more "powdered" rather than consisting of defined, hair-like strokes, which was my expectation. I will need to fill in the bare spots with pencil even though I paid more than I ever have for sub standard microblading! I have had microblading done in the past with results that lasted approximately 3-4 years. In my previous experience, a touch-up session was typically included as part of the initial service, rather than being charged at the same rate as the original procedure. I won't be recommending her to friends, family or coworkers and will go elsewhere next time.

There was easy parking outside and her space was very clean and organized. Charmaine took the time to map out my brows, understanding what level of shade I wanted my eyebrows and how natural I wanted them to look. The process was straightforward and did not hurt at all. She said that she was going to contact the distributor because it happened to another client also. To make it worse I got this treatment for Mother's Day. Michigan, etc. I see she has good reviews so I trusted her. She did a full "dramatic" set on my virgin lashes. During the application my eyes were burned from fumes coming from the lash glue. She mentioned using a different glue then continued, instead using a fan to blow air on my face. When I left my eyes were sensitive and swollen. A few days later my eyes stopped watering and I liked the look of the lashes. One week later I had lost several of my own lashes and extensions, which were now falling out in clumps. Megan refused to correct her work and became confrontational. In fact, this was her reply: "I think all of this is to get some type of refund which is why I'm not going to waste my time or yours with other glues." I'm writing this review because it's been a few months and I have been to a real professional remove and replace them with a weeks rest in between. We both noticed she had applied (glued) one extension to several lashes, clumping them together. This shortcut resulted in my loosing several lashes when the extensions fell off. I do not recommend Megan for lash extensions. Perhaps she is better with Makeup, I don't know. However, I do know from my own experience that there are other lash professionals who stand behind their work and know how to apply the lashes correctly to achieve a beautiful result with minimal damage to your natural lashes. Update: I'm still seeing the same lash artist who fixed my lashes after Megan's mishap. My lashes have since grown back and are looking beautiful with the addition of extensions. Whenever I have fallout or any issues at all I'm able to book a repair between appointments. No problems. No excuses. No selfies. I will let Megan's response speak for itself.

I got Megan's name from a friend (who was in a wedding that she did) and did a trial with her the day of my shower, so we could talk about colors and what I liked. She is such a sweet person and an incredibly talented makeup artist. She 100% listened to what I was looking for and any concerns I had, and above all, made me look like my best self! I also loved that she uses variety of different makeup brands so you're not all just one specific counter (a couple people recommended to stay away from MAC for my wedding since it tends to be more dramatic and that's not what I was going for). Megan's pricing was also really reasonable and it included everything - full face, eyelashes (in my opinion, a MUST!) and airbrushing. We had a total of 10 girls (including me, my mom and my groom's mom), so she brought an assistant with her as well and they were both amazing! They arrived on time and stayed with us until we all looked gorgeous. ALL of my girls (and my VERY picky M-I-L) are still talking about how good they looked! Thank you so much, Megan!!!
