How she loves it and said it's very durable. I asked Connie how often slabs break she said only 1 Granite slab has broken. We purchased 2 Super white slabs from MSI a Vendor they referred us too. Both slabs broke. The first attempt at installing the 1st slab had a 2 foot fissure to the right of the sink. The installer said it's broken and can't install any part of it. Rock tops replaced 1st slab at no cost to us. They came out again for the 2nd install and when the 2nd slab was installed. It broke at installation. This time a 4 foot break all the way in a diagonal line above the cooktop. Right at eye level which is so disappointing because it's front and center and the main focal point of kitchen. When the Manager came out after the installation to see the 2nd break. Confirmed it was broke by running a credit card over it proving it was not smooth. Took a picture said he was going to talk to installers The manager then said it's basically Sandstone. He said this stuff gets fissures/breaks all the time. This is very normal. Complete opposite to what Connie said. Then tried to shift that the 2 mil it's not as durable. I said well you shouldn't sell it if you feel this way. They moved the seam with the counter top where the first slab broke by the sink. Where they ended up putting the seam and how it looks is VISUALLY unappealing. Some of the seams are extremely chipped and jagged. They did send a team to fix and although it's smooth to touch it's chipped all the way from front to back of the countertop and looks unprofessional.Above the cooktop it's now smooth but the finish is gone and have swirl makes from grinding it smooth. The break is not fixable. We have new fissures on the countertop and the caulking behind the sink is coming out. This is worrisome because it's behind the sink and gets wet so it will turn to black mold. So do yourself a favor and go with a company that does what they say and stands behind their work. Not a company that has you sign they are Not liable if any damages occur before or after. Currently in legal advice.

He set good expectations for progress and kept us informed of next steps. He did a great job coordinating the subs and keeping things moving. Jaren also was good to work with when we wanted a few design changes. He gave us good advice and was fair about costs. All of Premier's employees and subcontractors were professional. We felt comfortable having any of them in our yard. They kept the site clean and were kind to our daughter and dog. They seemed to take a real interest in our family, and took pride in their workmanship. Even the owner personally came to oversee the final plastering and check on our experience. We were swimming around 60 days from the dig. Jeremy did a great job training us on the equipment and chemicals. He still responds to our calls when we have random questions.

Premier Pools of Utah - Unprofessional, Incompetent, Liars and Thieves…read more Travis, Jaren and Premier Pools team are the least professional people and business I have ever dealt with. They lie to get your business, underestimate the bids and then give you the real bid once work has started, they have 10's of thousands of dollars and your yard is torn apart. They use many tactics to pressure you and extort more money. You can see these patterns if you search other reviews. They promise dig to swim in 60 days and are nowhere close but attempt to place blame on the client at every turn. Run, don't walk, the other direction from Premier Pols of Utah. When the project started, we all got on a text chain to have transparent communication. Immediately, the chain and protocol were broken, and we saw that the communication was almost nonexistent unless they were seeking payment. Simply put, they are so awful that they post reviews on their website that are written by their own employees (see picture below where Jaren writes about how great his boss is.). The bid and design were poorly thought out and rushed so the design was not going to work. Without exception, if they said they would do something or be at our home on a certain date or time, they never showed up or did what they said on the date or time promised. Even the initial day they promised to start excavating was moved repeated times because they are so inept. I have almost 6 months of texts messages that are basically garbage excuses. Their design failed to incorporate a retaining wall, that, if they had been professional and not scammers, they would have foreseen and included in the bid. When they announced that we needed this, they sent my wife a bill and asked her to resign the new contract and pay immediately so they could stay on track because they were already behind. This was not on the group communication because they tried to force it through her quickly. They said they had been getting bids for 2-3 weeks and that was the best price. This was a lie. Their fake bids were $13,856.64 and $16,000 and they did not even bother to forge the date on one so we could tell they did not get it when they said they did. One bid was dated after the day I asked for it and supposedly they had been getting them for weeks. The bids were also incomplete because the contained none of the engineering specs so they could not have started work even if we had approved one. When I, in turn, bid the wall to concrete companies, I had to wait 3 more weeks to get the engineering specs from Premier pools to get bids so clearly theirs were bogus. Of all the bids we got, not one was even half as high as theirs. Jaren is an unprofessional baby who shuts down all communication with the client when he is called out on his BS. It is hard to even call him a project manager because he cannot even manage simple communication or client relations. He could not manage the construction toilet correctly, it showed up 5 weeks early and left a month late. Money was wasted everywhere due to his incompetence, and we were always left without communication. Travis is a skilled salesman who is very quick to lie and do anything possible to get your signature and your money. He is slimy and not to be trusted under any circumstances. Do your research on this company I'm willing to bet that any positive reviews are fake or written by employees or close contacts of Premier pools. Our pool took just over 6 months from dig to swim. It is OK, but I would not have done it if I had known how terrible the experience would be.

We had Bowcutts come look at it several times after we moved in to our brand new home. They told us all of it was normal... now it's all falling apart. I called them to see if someone else could come out and look at it again now that it's falling apart. A woman told me she would send someone out and they would call me. I had a colored concrete patio poured in July 2017 by T&R. I arrived home after the patio had been…read morepoured and at first thought I had received a quality job. The concrete was level with a nice broom finish. Over the next several days as the concrete cured white spots formed on the surface, the color faded drastically and surface shrinkage cracks formed to the point it looks like alligator skin. I had Terry come out to check it out and he assured me when the slab fully cured all the defects would diappear. I tried contacting him again with no response. We now will consider seeing if we can paint, stain,or figure some other method to cover the slab. Alot of money spent on a patio that looks 20 years old. I do not recommend T&R CONCRETE

I had a patio poured by T&R Concrete two years ago. The project would have been screwed up had my husband not been there. Ted promised me that he would seal patios every two years for customers who did big projects with him and that it would be about $200. It's been two years since my project was done, so eleven weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment for them to come out and seal it. Robin made the appointment and said she would send over the bid. She never did. A week before my appointment, she called and said the workers were behind and made a new appointment for three weeks later. Again, she said she would send over the bid but never did. A week and a half before the appointment, she called asking if the job could be done the next day and asked me to send over the bid because she couldn't find it. I called her back saying I had never received it. She said she would send the bid later that night, but she didn't. I emailed Ted the next day asking him for the bid. I even calculated the area of the patio that would need to be sealed. He said he would email the bid later that afternoon but didn't. The next day, I sent an email saying I still hadn't received the bid. No response. Yesterday was supposed to be my second rescheduled appointment. No one showed up. The night before, I called and left a message asking if they were still going to come and to send over the bid. No response. This is terrible customer service. I am so disappointed. The sad thing is I recommended this company to a friend of mine. Plus, I was going to hire them to have a French drain redone and parts of my sidewalk fixed. That's definitely not going to happened after I have been treated so poorly these past 11 weeks. I guess I am not worth their time, so I will hire someone else to do all of that work.

1st American has asked us three times to submit a review, so here it is…read more If you want to avoid surprise fees, avoid 1st American Plumbing, Heating, and Air. After working through a handful of plumbing, heating, and air companies, we thought we had finally found a business that we felt did a great job and was trustworthy, and that we would stick with long-term. Their work is great. We have used them both for our home and our rental. We have recommended them to our friends. But unfortunately we can no longer recommend this business unless you are ready to keep a close eye on the fees. We had an emergency callout to our rental during the cold snap last week. Our tenant was ill and needed heat, so we wanted to get it repaired quickly and were willing to pay the after-hours fee. They repaired the issue in a timely manner, charging an after-hours dispatch fee of 150 dollars, which we expected since we called after hours and needed it fixed quickly. They also charged us for the labor to fix the issue, which of course was expected. However, they also charged us an out-of-area fee of 140 dollars. That amounts to 290 dollars just for the callout. That doesn't include any labor. Apparently they determined our home is within their service area, but our rental is not. This was news to us, especially considering they had serviced our rental previously and had not mentioned it is out of the area nor had charged us an extra fee. Their service area is a 30 mile radius, and our rental is 27 miles on the road (not as the crow flies), so even according to their own policy we shouldn't have been charged this fee. But we were. And when I spoke to them about it, they basically told me, "Sorry, that's how it is." I understand businesses need to be making money, and I appreciate that after-hours are a special case, but to be charged an extra fee that has not been charged previously is frustrating. I looked through all of our past invoices and have not once been charged an out-of-area fee for either our home or this rental. To be fair, they had asked my wife if the fees were ok, and in a bit of a panic we said "yes" because we needed heat for our tenants, but we didn't fully understand that there were essentially two callout fees. This is not the way I expect to be treated as a regular client. I guess they have enough business to start pricing out their lower priority customers. Hopefully my $140 mistake will save you some money. I really had hoped that we finally found a heating/air business we could work with for our home and our rental. I guess the search continues.

We've never utilized a contractor for a project this large, but wow, Pro-Worx really knocked the…read morebasement renovation outta the park! The basement renovation included a walkout, kitchen, laundry and office area. We also needed a custom load-bearing beam created since a wall was removed near the kitchen area. Permits were quick and smooth. It was estimated to be a 3-month project, but finished in 2.5 months, just before winter. Bryant, John, Reagan and the rest of the team were very easy to work. We especially appreciated weekly communication which indicated the work that would be focused on the next week. Pro-Worx were clean, professional and we highly recommend them. In fact, we'll be using them again in the future.
