We usually go to the store and I put together the bouquet. Let me start by saying the lady was very helpful but I can tell she was busy so it's understandable. We just walked in and picked out some flowers for $30. She threw them together and we took them home. I love going to flower shops and sometimes you find those people that are willing to go the extra mile. We definitely got in and out, but we were not extremely happy about the presentation. My son looked at me and was like I know you're gonna fix the fix those right, mom? I told him you already know what I was thinking. But after a few days, and often within a day or two, they begin to droop and fade in spite of my watering diligence. Unfortunately most florists don't know "Beginner Florist 101". Or if they do, they don't bother with this added chore: Before adding flower stems to an arrangement, the stem should be cut again, about an inch above the previous cut, while holding it under lukewarm water. This prevents a dry gap above the cut mark, so the stem will continue to absorb water and therefore last longer. If not done, the stem can't absorb water because there is a gap of air between the cut mark and the part of the plant that "drinks". When I cut flowers from my garden to add to an arrangement, I always partly fill my sink with lukewarm water and cut each stem again underwater before adding it to the water filled vase. After doing this, I often enjoy my cut garden flowers for ten days or more. You will know when your florist does this, as the subject of this review likely has done. Because most of their arrangements will look great for several days, and more often, for more than a week or more. And if you are fortunate enough to receive an arrangement filled with buds about to bloom, they might look as beautiful as mine do in the photo I'm posting five days after they arrived. They look like they're just getting started! I received them January 3rd, and today is January 7th. I'm impressed!!!

Holly responded to my email almost instantly and was always fast and available to help me choose the order. She had great advice, price options, and customer service overall! The only small complaint I never received my email copy of the receipt even after a second request to have it sent. I'm guessing that this is the fault of email filtering to junk or trash however since they were fabulous in every other way, so I can't dock them for it. They sent me a text message photo of the plants before sending them out for delivery so I knew what my friends were getting. What blew me away!!: I was on the phone with my friend the day of his wedding and found that he had not received any deliveries. I started to panic since it was supposed to be delivered 2 days prior to the wedding. Holly responded to my text immediately that she was calling driver, and if for some reason it didn't go the right place she was VERY sorry and they would send another RIGHT AWAY. Once confirmed that the driver had attempted delivery & had left it in the leasing office due to no answer at the address or phone for delivery. She even went as far as to call the leasing office to confirm that they were in fact getting in touch with the people it was intended to be delivered too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THEM, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN! They will go above and beyond to make sure that your desires are met and your happy with the product produced.

Fortunately, I came to the funeral and saw my flowers. The way the card was written up, it was obvious that a person did not look at it to make sure that it was correct. There were five families in together on this bouquet, and all the names ran together, like one word, no spaces. It was super difficult to even tell whose names were on the card, and it was even run together with the message that I left on there Ex: celebrating her victorybill&sherrywright. Super disappointed. Also, the bouquet was pretty small for what I paid for it.
