This place is great. They are actually located right off the state route and the address on here is the one to the house they do powder coating at. The prices are great and they are straight forward and honest about what they are doing so you don't overpay for anything. BDB in Niceville/Valpariso has always been there to help me fix any of my Harley's woth any problem. Rick & Mary are the owners. Peter,Patch are in shop diagnostics and tires and carbs they do it all. They currently are rebuilding the Road Glides motor for me very reasonable pricing and friendly service. I'd never go anywhere else for my motorcycle servicing. They service all motorcycles from crotch rocket to scooters to full dresser harleys and Indian's. Very friendly and great at explaining and also showing you the issue at hand unlike other shops that wont let you see anything except a mutated bill that is so crazy you need a counselor afterwards. Very fair and great work!! They have done a lot of work for me and when I can I prefer to take my bike here. If they adjust your carb it's got a warranty for six months of adjustments if things go back out of whack. They will not push you to buy worthless crap you don't need and they will advise you if what you are about to buy is crap. They also have a few bikes for sale if you are in the market. read more

I've used BDB on three occasions and on each visit they "found" something that needed repair. I have two friends that report the same complaints. My last visit to replace two tires I provided and an oil change cost me $318. I got a phone call from them a month later saying they messed up on the invoice and I owed them another $188. We recently purchased a "new" used Big Dog to go along with our Harley. Turns out, the bike had more issues than we realized and we started the process of having repairs and upgrades done. We started out with a recently opened bike shop located in the town where we live. After spending over $1500 at that shop and having little more to show for it than 2 new tires, we decided that it was time to try somewhere else. That's when we stopped at BDB in Niceville. They are right at the intersection of Hwy 85 and John Sims Pkwy, so they're hard to miss. After the first few minutes of talking with Pete, we realized that we had found the right place. His knowledge of both of bikes was apparent. He was pleasant, polite and professional. We were full of not very good things to say about our previous experience, but he avoided jumping on the wagon of criticism of his competitor. Several of the issues that we took to BDB were ones that we had paid the first shop resolve (which weren't resolved) plus we needed to purchase and install new pipes on the "new" bike and swap the old pipes over to the Harley. We ordered our parts and got a call from BDB about a week later saying that the parts were in and we scheduled an appointment to get the work done. They completed the work on both bikes in 2 days. The new pipes on the Harley and the lowering kit that they installed are perfect! No need to take it to Harley and pay their extraordinary prices for parts and labor! And all of the issues with the Big Dog were resolved. There had been no need for the new starter or battery that the other shop insisted that the Big Dog needed, sold to us and installed. It was that the timing was so off and the plugs were so fouled off that it wouldn't start or run right! Why couldn't the first shop figure that out? I'm not a mechanic, but they say that they are! The ignition and turn signal switches that the first shop said were nearly impossible to replace were fixed by BDB with a couple of $15 parts. The "squeal" that the first shop said was from bad bearings (but still existed after they replaced the bearings) turns out to be a belt that needs to be replaced. An easy fix that we still need to get taken care of. There were a couple of other minor issues that BDB resolved as well. Now I get it why there are always a bunch of bikes and people around BDB. Won't be taking my scoots anywhere else! Great service and prices from folks who know what they're doing! read more
