They must get tired of this. So very, very, very tired…read more What am I talking about, you say? I'm talking about Americans who stop in here to evacuate their pockets of Twoonies & Loonies. It must be annoying to have Americans stop in here to unweigh themselves of Canadian Currency. But you know what, the lady working here when we stopped by: super nice, eh? While prepping to leave Canadia, we took a pit stop at the Real Canadian Superstore to get rid of our Loonies, Twoonies, and any other hard cash. This basically means we buy lots of Cheezies, Smarties, Eat More bars, and other Canadian junk food. However, as we were walking the parking lot, we noticed a liquor store across the way. My sister and I sauntered our way on over there. This little liquor store was "warehouse-sized", but it was nice inside, and there were lots of beverage (of the alcohol variety) options here. Most of it was the standard stuff, but we noticed some local B.C. microbrews, and had to do some on-the-fly coin calculations. How many bottles are in a 6-Pack?!? How many Twoonies will I need to buy one? What would Bob & Doug MacKenzie do????? (http://youtu.be/w1RN3cYnY9k) We ended up picking up a couple of 16oz bottles and then making our way to the checkout counter. This is where it gets embarrassing for the United States of America. We basically dived our hands in our pockets and laid down a pile of coins in front of the lady. And ya know what? We were short! This is when we had to run to the car to get our mommy. She came in with a big smile....and some silver. More counter-clinking coins clamored for attention and counting. We did it. All the coins (and lint) from our pockets were removed. We had liquid souvenirs from Canada. The counter lady smiled and sent us on our way.

They have a great selection of Montana distilled spirits which is great to give as gifts. Fancy bottled tequila and specialty packaged varieties.
