Having lived in Denver two years now, it's been extremely difficult to find a barbershop here that…read moredoes quality work and is not rushing you out of the chair for their next clients. I decided to give Frank's a shot and wow, so glad I did! I booked online which was super simple, and got there early to grab a parking spot since it is downtown off Larimer. Headed inside, was greeted/checked in and was told to wash my hands which I liked. They then asked if I wanted anything to drink and it being my day off, I went the local craft beer route and got a Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale by Great Divide (their beer selection is spot on, even got a koozie for the can). I was then told to take a seat in their lounge area dubbed the "man cave" which is the only thing I happened to take pictures of while there. They had all kinds of things available while waiting, from chips, snacks, suckers, even condoms which I thought was a nice touch. I hung out in there for a few minutes before Addison came and introduced herself and took me to her chair. Now back home in Houston, I had the same barber for about 7 years and I have spent some time here in Denver looking for anyone comparable to her- and I think Addison just may be that fit. She was amazing, listened to every detail on what I was looking for with a haircut, and was very personable but also professional. I was so impressed by her work I'll definitely be going back and requesting her as well. Highly recommend her for anyone reading this review! My bar is set pretty high, and she went above and beyond. Facility was very nice and well kept, loved how clean everything was. A couple of pro tips, get there early because of street parking. I went during the day which was fine, but you always need to be prepared going downtown to find a spot unless you are walking/scooting/biking. Coors Field is two blocks away, so I can see parking not even being an option during baseball season. Also Addison told me a lot of people book in the evening and come in for a beer and a cut, then head out on the town afterwards which is not a bad place to be to get the night started!

Regarding the reviews dated May 27, 2025, and May 23, 2025: I've been a client of Brandon--owner of BC Barber Co--for over a year. He consistently provides excellent service, and his barbershop has always felt welcoming and professional. In response to the ADA concern: As noted by Accessibility.com, "Even if a historic storefront appears to lack ground-level access, it may still have alternative accessibility solutions in place, such as a side entrance or a system for requesting assistance. It's always best to contact the specific business directly to inquire about their accessibility provisions." I encourage you to reach out to Brandon directly. I am confident that accessibility accommodations exist and that he would be more than willing to assist in ensuring you receive a quality cut. Regarding the alleged "stabbing" incident: It's difficult for me to believe that Brandon would ignore such a serious situation. In my experience, he has always prioritized safety and maintained a respectful environment for both patrons and staff. I strongly suggest having a conversation with him so he can properly address your concerns. BC Barber Co remains a great place for top-notch grooming services. Even amid the ongoing Colfax construction, Brandon and his team are still showing up and serving the community with professionalism. read more

I understand why guys go to this place.. They want to get their hair cut in a place that makes you think you should quit your day job, get a bunch of tattoos, a hipster hair cut, and go buy a motorcycle. The reality is the employees have the same "we're the Sh**" attitude and are way too cool for school. I'm way too lazy to type the details of my bad experience but they can keep their super hip biker wannabe club, have fun circle jerking in there homies. read more

Very disappointing experience. I will not be coming back…read more My barber was **Dale**, and I was seated in the **second chair from the back of the shop**. I paid $40 for my haircut and even left a $20 tip because I didn't realize how poorly the haircut had been done until I got home and looked at it carefully. The haircut was noticeably uneven and poorly blended. I also discovered that several long hairs had been left behind my ears and were never properly trimmed. The haircut was bad enough that I went to **Supercuts the same day** and paid for another haircut just to have it fixed. The stylist at Supercuts cleaned up the long hairs that Dale had left behind my ears and ultimately had to cut my hair down to one uniform #0.5 length because I was so unhappy with how uneven the original haircut looked. So I paid **$40 plus a $20 tip here, and then had to spend another $30 at Supercuts to correct the haircut.** I ended up spending about **$90 total** just to get a properly finished haircut. Afterward, I looked through the reviews and noticed several other recent customers describing similar problems with uneven or poorly executed haircuts. One review even specifically mentions the **second seat from the back of the shop**, which is exactly where I was seated. I can't say whether that customer had the same barber, but the similarity definitely stood out to me. I don't recommend this place, and I will not be returning.

I specifically asked for my beard to be faded -- tighter on the cheeks and gradually fuller toward the chin. Instead, essentially one guard length was used throughout the beard, while the chin was mostly left alone. There was no actual fade or blending like I requested. The back of my neck was also initially left completely untouched. I had to ask for the neckline to be tapered, which I would normally expect to be part of a line-up. So to fix that she went higher than I wanted and started cutting the sides with scissors, which was not what I asked for either. The service also kept being interrupted because the barber had her baby there. At first, I was completely understanding -- things happen and parents have responsibilities. But she repeatedly had to stop during my appointment to tend to the baby, including stopping mid-service to change the baby's diaper and then returning directly to my beard service. On top of that, there were repeated comments about the baby "shitting" throughout the appointment. That just isn't the kind of conversation or environment I want while receiving a grooming service. I'm understanding when someone has a child with them, but when it begins interfering with the quality, timing, cleanliness, and professionalism of a paid service, it becomes an issue. I left after spending about an hour there and still didn't receive the beard fade or clean line-up I originally asked for. Very disappointing experience.
