Initial candidate ignored reporting deadlines, causing me to be tardy on reports due to the bank. After being assured the agency would step in to help on the initial visit and/or a replacement would be available right away should the incumbent fail to work out; I had to ask for help and waited a month for another candidate. Additionally, the person sent had limited availability and would require a yet another person to fulfill the agreed upon schedule, further compounding the time required for coordination and training.
Due to the delay, I became increasingly behind on generating collections and managing my cash flow. I received an invoice on June 5th (dated May 15th) and then my service was suspended for non-payment on June 16th, which would have been the replacement's second day of assignment. In a nutshell, I ended up paying $35/hr. for someone to answer phones and for me to invest considerable amounts of my own time training them and executing the documents myself, detracting from my time participating in activities geared toward generating revenue.
Bookkeeping and finance demand extreme integrity, attention to detail, and follow though, all of which BBW's internal AR Department and Senior Management have failed to achieve. A relevant instance is that my name was spelled incorrectly and the wrong billing rate was shown on the paperwork, even though I pointed this out to them on prior occasions.
