food was mostly pretty good, except i wanted my paneer tikka masala spicy and they just straight up added chili oil. ig that makes sense but i thought they would add actual spice or smth bc it was SO oily (see pic for reference). service was nice enough. the biggest complaint i have is the portion size. im not sure if you can tell in the photos but there was not a lot of food for the price

Simply the best Indian food in Indiana, and it's not even close. You can tell they care deeply about quality here. Absolutely must try.

Amazing south Indian place. Service is fast, food is authentic. Beware of spice level, it's very real. If you don't eat spicy don't venture beyond mild. Limited indoor sitting but in summers will be amazing place to sit and eat outside!!

Flavors of India opened last summer of 2025, about a month before BBs, another South Bend Indian restaurant, opened. Now SB has at least 3 Indian restaurants! Lol! There were about 5 other couples in addition to my bf and I at 6pm on a Saturday night and by the time we left, most of the seats were filled with patrons. The staff was pretty good, although we were only checked on once after we got our food. We were not that hungry but we were in the mood to try this new Indian restaurant. The menu is huge as this place offers regional foods from all over India, instead of just north or south. The menu could have used a copy editor though. Some items, especially those that have fish, were crossed out. Made it a bit hard to read. We shared a thick mango lassi ($4) that had little flecks of Indian spices like cardamom and saffron mixed in. For dinner, we split an order of tandoori chicken ($18) and an order of haka noodles with vegetables mixed in ($11). The noodles were very salty from the soy sauce and the portion of noodles was enough for 4 people, way too much, even for us large eaters. The chicken was just the right portion for 2 people to share. I love how lemony it was from the lemon juice as well! I'll definitely 10000% order the tandoori chicken again. By the end, we ate too much and we were extremely full by the end. But honestly eating too much is just the story of my life! Since I'll be moving to SB in a few months, I am sure we will be back here many more times in the future.

So I am sure this review will need an update when I eventually go and dine-in. As for the takeout experience, everything was wrapped up carefully and put in high-quality plastic containers. Also, everything was very clearly labeled which is very appreciated! Once we portioned everything out, we dug on in! Between the 3 of us, we ordered 3 different kinds of paneer entrees, 1 chicken dum biryani, 2 vegetable samosas, 1 coconut naan, 1 butter naan, and 1 chana masala. Our orders also included 3 cups of rice. I tried everything but my personal order was the chicken biryani (1000/10 rating!) and the coconut naan. I was the only non-vegetarian among us so I got the chicken dish all to myself! All 3 paneers were great, but the best was the slightly sweet paneer manchurian dish! The saag paneer was a bit too goop-y to be a favorite of ours. The vegetable samosas were crispy and not excessively oily. My coconut naan was a great sweet naan, covered in a LOT of coconut flakes! And like I mentioned before, the chicken biryani is a must try! The picture doesn't show it, but underneath the first layer of rice are two big hunking thighs of delicious chicken! I can see why this is considered not only the best Indian restaurant in FW, but one of the best restaurants in the area! I am looking forward to dining in and getting a mango lassi!
