I absolutely love BBQ Shack, and the Shack Fries are my weakness! The food is always great, and it's usually one of my favorite places to eat. However, I was very disappointed with my experience today. One of the workers made me feel extremely unwelcome from the moment we walked in. She came across as rude and seemed irritated the entire time. Everyone has bad days, and I understand that, but it shouldn't affect how customers are treated. What bothered me the most was the dirty looks she kept giving my grandmother, which made us both uncomfortable. Food was good, well what we got of it. Check your order and be sure everything is there before you drive off as we we're missing 2 items from the order. My family and I would have BBQ Shack at least once a week. Then the place got sold to new management/owners. It is now no longer the same. Our orders are alwasy missing something or wrong. This place has the worst and rudest staff that I have ever been served by. Don't dare ask for any sauce if they forget to give it to you. The owner will pretty much tell you that he doesn't need your business and will hang up on you. If you go into the restaurant to voice your complaint he will tell you to get off his property. These actions alone are enough to turn my stomach. They will never get my business again. The bbq sandwiches don't ever have enough sauce. The will NEVER give you cocktail sauce with a shrimp basket and forget about tartar sauce with a fish dinner. This place makes me sick. read more

Food is pretty good, but you better not have a problem. I called to let them know (very kindly) that it was the third time they forgot the sauce for my shrimp. Not a big deal, just and FYI. I had even asked for it at the window and told them I didn't get it the last two times. The person got really upset and chewed me out for calling on a busy day to complain. She hung up on me. I called back and got her again. I asked for the manager. Turns out she WAS the manager. I asked for the owner. I explained what happened and he said "yep" and hung up on me too! This place treats its customers like crap and expects us to keep giving them our business. They have never gotten another penny from me and never will. Really friendly people, very quick with our order, and the food was about the best we've tried so far (we just moved to Ark and are looking for good BBQ). We arrived about 15 minutes before closing as they were counting the till. They were patient and fun, didn/t act put out at all by our late arrival. The place has some fun decor that fits their attitude. The ribs were moist and flavorful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent BBQ! read more
