I first had the rib tips, potato salad, and baked beans. Everything was an Absolute 10! Rib tips were tender, flavorful, and didn't even need the sauce (but the bbq sauce was so good, it was drinkable btw, lol)! I also tried the catfish; it was perfectly crispy with cornmeal batter. I got it with fries and coleslaw. All of the sides were on point! And wait...let me not forget dessert; I had a slice of the best poundcake Ever! I went back for more the next day, and it was sold out (along with the caramel cake). The owners and employees there were incredibly friendly, and welcoming, and even funny! Every time the employee just gives us what they did have and hopes we drive off. Then we eventually have to go inside because they refuse to come back to the window. Until the last visit they have always refused to give a refund and you have to argue to get a replacement for whatever item they're missing. The most recent visit we ordered one meatball toasted and a turkey cold. They didn't include the meatball at all and let us drive away without saying anything about the sandwich that was missing. They did give a cash refund but we got all the way home to realize they gave us ham and the pickles on the sandwich were brown in the center. Definitely will never use the app again. Also twice since the new staff we've sat at the pickup window for 15+ minutes with no one coming so we pulled around to walk inside and all of the employees (never more than two) were standing in front of the store smoking. New ownership and staff will run it into the ground until it closes.
