(If you have smelled something this good then you need to direct message and we can discuss) Then 12:45 hits, (lunch break time). My buddies and I did not even discuss what we were eating for lunch (we had tamales in our vehicle/home and I was planning on eating that because it is my favorite food but I said no this will be better). So we order, we eat and we love it. The food is what you want and tasted even better than it smelled which was crazy to me because of how good it smelled (I explain up top how good it smelled). Later, we came back to watch the World Cup. It went into penalty kicks! We were all watching it and wow it's the best atmosphere. If any World Cup game is going on go here to watch!

I ordered the quesabirria taco plate (comes with 3 tacos, consome, raw onion and cilantro, chopped grilled onion and a green pepper on the side. I cannot express enough about the delightful customer my lunch buddy Jimmy and I experienced here. The gentlemen who owns the place was very polite, ask us about our needs for condiments and more. Now this isn't thr only five star food truck in this area. The place is kind of secluded so if you drive out here it right in there where the tire shop is located. The seating area is very shaded ans they have isolating fans to help with the Texas heat. Parking area is plentiful and shaded with some naturl tree over hang. For the food I bought the Texas Tator with brisket and a six piece moist lemon pepper wings on the side. My lunch buddy got the loaded nachos. All the food was well prepared and delicious. The brisket was moist and not dry. The wings were smoked, tender, and not dry at all. This is my new go to spot for lunch now. This place is relatively new, the owner stated they only been in this area for three months now. I highly recommend you all give this place a try! So don't be shy.

The tenants had a great time, and the food was outstanding. Although it's a bit subjective, I don't eat meat, so I mentioned that to Mike. Without hesitation, he made sure I had something special to enjoy by putting a few Beyond Burgers on the smoker. Let me tell you, this was hands down the best veggie burger I've ever had. Fresh off the pit, full of smoky flavor, and absolutely incredible. Total game changer! Thank you again, Mike, for going above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. You've officially put your smoked Beyond Burgers on the map in my book. I can't recommend Bravo Company Barbeque & Catering enough! Kindly, R.Prince

The smell of the smoker hit me before I even got close, and the food tasted just as good as it smelled. The brisket was super tender with that perfect smoky flavor, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone good. You can tell they take their time cooking it right. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy (exactly how it should be), and the baked beans had that sweet, smoky taste that ties everything together. The folks running the truck were super friendly too -- they actually seemed happy to be there and to feed people. Prices are fair, portions are big, and honestly, it's just good, honest barbecue. Definitely worth stopping by if you see the truck out somewhere

I ate it as protein before getting to the star of the show - the sides. However, I'm finding a newfound appreciation for meat. We keep going back to True Texas bbq for casual meals out, because they simply give you the best bang for the buck, and it's actually better than quite a few well-known bbq establishments. Last night, I had the juiciest turkey I've ever tasted. I think I got some slices from near the end, that contributed to that, because as I worked my way inwards through the slices, they returned to normal juiciness. However, normal for True Texas bbq is still very moist. It was better than the last 3 or 4 bbq turkeys I've tried. I usually order a quarter pound of turkey, but I was hungry and ordered a half pound. I'm glad I did! A pound of meat split between the two of us was the right amount, because we were quite hungry. My husband ordered the lean brisket, which we kind of regretted. Fatty brisket is too fatty for us, but we realized we could have ordered a quarter pound of lean and a quarter pound of fatty, and had the perfect balance. Next time! And, there will be a next time! My only complaint was we specified "no bread" and they gave us bread anyways. I hate to see food wasted!

And this is def the superior location between this one and Kyle. Maybe Kyle is still so new they haven't worked the kinks out yet. At the location, even towards the end of the day during dinner rush, the meat is still moist and seems fresh. But I had to take a star away because the bastardization of the sides has gone too far! When the mac and cheese was changed I thought 'ok...it's still mac and cheese...I can just add my own seasoning and maybe a sprinkle of cheese'. But today, I stopped because I had an appointment in South Austin and I needed to stop at this particular HEB because the one near my house in San Marcos didn't have all the meat products I needed for the week. Since it was so late in the day, I knew I'd be fighting traffic and getting home late and wouldn't want to cook. No issue because I'm at the good TTB! Got my $27 2 meat plate (ribs and pablano sausage, brisket beans and mac and cheese) and added a small side of cole slaw...MISTAKE!!!! I got home all excited and opened the slaw container and noticed IMMEDIATELY that that were pieces of kale in my slaw...THAT IS NOT TEXAS!!! No disrespect to any transplants but WE DON'T DO THAT HERE! So whoever thought of this and the panel who greenlit it needs to take it back to wherever they got it from. No true Texan wants this. It even TASTED green *vomit*. I get BBQ for the indulgence...when I'm ready to be on the straight'n narrow I'll go to Clean Juice until then take the darn kale out the slaw, put the mayo back in and make it more creamy than vinegary and keep it Texas! Sorry to harp on the slaw but it was just BAD. I had to update this because now I'm worried next the brisket beans will be made with some kind of brisket substitute or something crazy! This is just a bridge too far for me after the mac and cheese. I'd say still get the meat but leave the sides. Make your own, get them from somewhere else or go without; but save your money on those.
