Essentially it looks like an extremely casual, safe, and typical drinking hole. Go inside and it's a different story. The place is a bit dated, reeking of cigarette smoke, and feels like a dive bar, but a massive one. The bartenders were a bit curt and didn't seem all that enthusiastic to serve my group and I, so it once we got our drinks it was off to the outside patio to escape the smokey aura. The drinks weren't particularly noteworthy, save for some of their weekly drink specials and solid draft selection. The food was much of the same, a typical smattering of bar classics from wings to burgers and waffle fries. While not much has impressed, the prices most certainly did. They have a sub $10 menu for most of their foods including a daily specials that are single digit pricing. As expected, there are also themed nights that range from ladies night to trivia to karaoke. I suspect that with a little booze, a lot of food specials, and good company, that this place could be as fun as it is debaucherous. __________ (#1) Only the largest theatre in Stafford. My favorites are the Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn sections, plus a little Rebel Without a Cause flair and a nod to the Rat Pack. It's like a time capsule of classic cool. The drinks? BIG. Like, the kind of pour you want after a long day--generous and made right. The bartender keeps it friendly, and you can tell there's a good group of regulars who keep the place buzzing without it ever feeling cliquey. Music leans into 70s/80s rock and classic vibes, which matches the décor and the crowd perfectly. Whether you're shooting pool, hanging with friends, or just in the mood for a stiff drink with some character around you, Jack's delivers. Bottom line: Fun, unpretentious, and easy to settle into. Someone was acting very aggressive because I sat on "his" seat (it was empty). That customer also stole the bartender's tip that I left him.
