My favorite here by far is the curry laksa -- it's so good, but the beware the mild-hearted cos it's on the spicy side! The salted egg yolk shrimp, kangkong belacan, and any of the curries are also very good. Jeck's has been around for a long time and very popular among the international crowd, especially Asians. Whenever I'm in Geneva, I drop by... sometimes multiple times in a week! It never disappoints.

We had a reservation for 7:30 but really didn't need it as, except for a couple of other tables, it was quite. Complimentary Shrimp Chips was a nice touch. We started with aDim Sum (Shrimp-4 pieces) appetizer. Light and tasty with Soy Sauce. Ballantines and Singha were the beverages for the meal. For a spicy dish, we got the Noodles Crevet (Malaysian) with Shrimp and Chicken. Just the right amount of heat and was enjoyed. Form the Menu's "Suggestion" section we went with the Crispy Beef. This is not a spicy dish -the seasoned crunchy beef was delicious. Our original Server was friendly and left before we finished. Our second server was friendly also. That said, service suffered a bit as he was the only server (although it wasn't busy). Overall, smaller, cozy spot with an extensive menu (almost overwhelming) of Malaysian/Singaporean/Thai cuisine.

The interior of the restaurant is very modern, with the main feature being a large, clean and well-stocked bar in the middle of the room. All the furniture and thick and bold abstract designs in darker colors give the place a swanky feel. The service was excellent, with the staff giving us great recommendations for both food and drinks. The drinks were among the best cocktails I've had in Geneva- heavy on ginger (try the Jaya!) and tropical fruits (try anything with passion fruit- delish!). By the end of the second drink we were happy that we had made a reservation, as the place fills up quickly! Be sure to call ahead. At the server's recommendation, our party of five ordered five cold and five hot dishes, which are served tapas-style. To be brief, let me just say that this was a truly sensational and unique meal, combining some of my favorite foods and flavors- seafood, lime, pork, ginger, squid ink, and wasabi, to name a few, in addition to the more familiar Peruvian features- potatoes, peppers, cocona, and chicken. All items were served correctly to temperature, and the plating was exquisite- playing on colors and textures. The flavors mimicked the colors- with pops of tart or sweet flavors layered with more nuanced notes. If I had to chose my favorite dishes, I would say that I best enjoyed the cold ceviches and the panceta or the causa negra con pulpo (featuring potatoes with squid ink!). All very delicious. I would say that overall I preferred the hot to the cold appetizers, but I am always a sucker for a good ceviche. Although we all had a bit of a gasp at the high bill, I can say that the experience was well worth the high price tag. Definitely worth a trip!

Stopped here for lunch, the menu was 28 CHF and I received a lovely little amuse bouche sushi looking little treat of rice and salmon with a nice sauce. Very tasty. I chose a potato entree with tuna topped with some sliced red onion all sitting on a bed of a wonderful creamy, slightly peppery sauce. After they took that empty plate they brought us little round breads and I was wishing for them so I could have soaked up that leftover sauce from the first dish. My main dish was cabbillaud with vegetables. Sounds plain but it was not, seasoning was wonderful and fish was perfect. I have pictures posted of both dishes, they are gorgeous.
