The donuts were baked with a crispy outer shell! The cowboy cookie was a peanut base with oatmeal & mms. The chocolate chip cookie was overloaded with chips! The proprietors were very friendly and enthusiastic. A nice detour while you are on a scenic drive. We'll be stopping again.

Well, I tell you because I really pay…read moreattention to the items they carry and the quality and prices compared to Giant Eagle and other grocery stores. I've recently noticed they have put out more take and heat one serving and family meals in the deli selection. They are priced a bit lower than Giant Eagle and are super convenient and beat fast food or pizza when you want something that tastes like you actually did cook! Also, very pleased with the protein snack packs by the fruit section. Some are priced under $3! Comparable healthy snack options at gas station or Starbucks are nearly twice that much. Lastly, (and I don't know why but just keep it coming), they have started offering Salmon Poke bowls, smoked candied Salmon and today, (for the first time ever), Seaweed salad!!! I'm wondering, (and I'm being serious), if demographics are changing since Ultim Cell opened and seems like more Asian community growing in Warren or at least more travelers here and somehow someone in corporate is offering more fish and variety of items you would only see on the coast, specialty food stores, or urban areas. Inquiring minds want to know? Either way I will probably go spend $40 and buy up the candied salmon and freeze some. If you've never had it you're missing out. I'm still shocked about the Seaweed salad, and to think it all started with the Poke bowls. Walmart you are doing pretty dang good. Thank you for supplying me with foods I miss from the West Coast. Great bread. You know how it costs extra for more meat at any chain? No need for extra meat on this sub. If you had to pay extra for this much meat at a chain, it would be a $20 sub. I may have got a little bit of meat sweats. It definitely cured my sub craving. The price is right. $7.99 I recommend. While you wait you can explore the store. A large jam selection. Fresh fruits and vegetables. All kinds of things that you must have.

Different dip's already made for any occasion. My family gets their fruit trays here all the time! I don't buy my deli meat & cheese NOWHERE but B & K! Always good quality. Specialty nuts, pastries. You can get any kinda sub or salad made on the spot with all the local fixing's. They are now doing pizza as well. It's Quiet. Not real busy most of the time. I have my favorites that work there & own the joint ;) They treat me very nice, & respectfully. If my favorite item hadn't been put out per another worker, the owner made sure I had my product before I left! I appreciated that soo much! I drove there specifically for that. Kindness can go a long way! I have some friends shopping there now on that act of kindness alone. I can't say enough. Try it! I luv it there!

We didn't look at selection of food so can't comment on that. We thought the beer cave selection was reasonable given the small population in the area. It's convenient to a public boat launch area so many of the beer choices correspond - light beers with name brands. We did find some choices for seasonal and regional options. Not the place for premium craft beers but probably as good as it gets without driving 25 minutes to a bigger city.
