I grew up in Turkey, and one of my all-time favorite foods was a sujuk sandwich! Kumru bread, spicy sujuk sausage, gooey kashar cheese, and fresh tomatoes. My mom and I were talking about it the other day, and that craving hit hard.
So when I passed Bazaar Istanbul, I had to stop in and of course, they had everything I needed (except the bread). I tried my hand at home and it was almost exactly like the ones I remember from back in the day.
If you're into Turkish food, this place is a must. They've got everything ... spices, cheeses, sweets, snacks ... you name it. I spent way longer there than planned because it just brought me right back. Friendly folks and great service, great selection, and all the vibes.
