Do you need some persian rugs or, perhaps, it's a zither that tickles your fancy, or are you hooked on hookahs? Well you'll find these and an array of other middle-eastern/north african tropes at Bazaar Bargain Antiques.
I'm no expert on antiques, so I can't vouch for rarity or authenticity or anything, but if you really, really wanted to be Aladdin as a kid then this is your best bet in Dublin for a magical lamps and flying carpets. Well, I mean, as far as I know, I suppose there could be a magical lamp wholesaler in the Ballymount Industrial Estate, but I doubt it.
The Baazar Bargain Antiques shop places a selection of it's exotic wares onto the street outside on nice days, turning a small section of the pavement on Ranelagh Main Street into Marrakech. They also sells a decent collection of paper backs for a euro a pop, which ain't half bad.
inside the tiny treasure trove the extravagent and eye-catching trinkets and artifacts teeter on top of one another leaving only a small patch of rug to share with the proprietor. He's a helpful and friendly man so this isn't too awkward but makes it hard to have a really good rummage in privacy.
