They never seem to disappoint. I had a rack and pinion issue with our car. I purchased one online…read morethinking my friend can install it but he couldn't, so I called a few shops. Most don't do it because I didn't buy it from them. I started to worry thinking I may have to buy it again from one of the shops and pay 3x the price. I remembered Hillsdale Transmission, from a few years ago when they replaced the transmission in our van. They can do it, thank God! It's like an answered prayer all the way to the finish. It was installed professionally, and aligned correctly. Why I didn't think about them from the very beginning is still puzzling me. I love that shop, Im a customer for life and they can fix everything, beyond transmissions. I can say the last honest shop in the bay area, from my own opinion.

They told me the transmission would need to be replaced at a very high cost. I got 2 others opinions who told me the same but 1 suggested I contact Autohaus who actually build these. I called and Earnie understood the problem and suggested a multi step process to see if it could be repaired without replacing the transmission. Amazingly he and Dirk managed to fix it at a reasonable cost, car drives perfectly and I am beyond happy. Additionally communication was superb, I knew what the plan was and approx costs along the way. I got a new quick tire at America's tires in Millbrae and they directed me here to make sure everything was working/running correctly. There was definitely a strange sound despite getting the new tire replaced. I came without an appointment and my car was checked out right away. After an evaluation, I was offered a couple of options on what to do. The body covering around the tire needed some tinkering vs. replacement. Further advice about future realignments etc was also given. My car is now running smoothly after their care (I spend almost 3 hours in it every day) and I feel so reassured about everything after the traumatizing week of bad car luck. Such a good experience. After confirming the issue, they ordered the parts, which arrived within about an hour. Once the parts came in, they knocked out the brake job in just 30-40 minutes. Super fast, transparent, and professional from start to finish. They also topped off my fluids and filled my tires, which I really appreciated. This was crucial in navigating the insurance process, helping us realize the claim fell under our deductible, prompting coordination with the other party's insurance. What truly set them apart was their commitment to convenience. Despite our workplace being 15 miles away, Bayside made a house call to take necessary insurance photos. Going above and beyond, they also picked up my car from our residence, another 15 miles from their shop, and delivered it the next day. All at no charge. The repair itself was impeccable, and the added touch of a thoroughly cleaned car upon return was the icing on the cake. My 2001 BMW 740i Cosmos Black was restored to original, as new, condition with all new replacement parts, including timing chain, best in service replacements you can get. The shop owner, Cee, was transparent with every step they took to repair my Mustang. He showed pictures of everything that was done to make the body straight again. They went through hundreds of man hours to remove the old paint and bondo/filler. The end result was nothing but astounding. The paint looks amazing and it looks as if the car was never rear ended.
