Includes salad, prime rib, Baked potato, Brussels sprouts and a roll. Everything was delicious. The prime rib was well trimmed and cooked to perfection. We asked for Au jus which was promptly delivered. The baked potatoes had a salty skin crust and were lathered with butter and sour cream. Sprouts were nicely roasted and seasoned. Every thing else was an available. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries and baked beans and an order of 10 chicken wings. The pulled pork wasn't really pulled pork. It was sliced and diced pork with sauce mixed in served on a wonder bread type bun. The beans were good. The fries were lukewarm and mostly shorts (less than 2" long). The wings weren't at all crispy. The sauce on them was tasty. It took way too long to make our food. I realize it's a brand new place, but they should put their best foot forward out of the gate. I'll give them another shot - for ribs. UPDATE- We returned to Hartley's now that it's been open a couple of weeks. We each ordered the rib plate @ $15 per. One with slaw and beans the other with okra and potato salad. Beverages - a water and a Sweet Tea @ $1.50 each. We got our boxes and beverages and went inside to eat. Each box consisted of 3 ribs, a side of sauce and the 2 sides. The ribs were tender and easy to eat. Not much rub or smoke flavor. I spread the sauce onto mine - it was an odd BBQ sauce. Seemed to be a chili sauce base and very sweet. The side orders were good - okra fried golden and crispy. Slaw was shredded cabbage with a nice dressing. Beans very tasty as was the potato salad. I hope Hartley's Rib Crib makes it as we sure need some options out here. I'll continue to get my BBQ at Summer's and 4 Rivers.

The shop also sells alot of Blue Bell ice cream pints (yum), lottery, beer, wine, assorted beverages, and ready to eat foods in the cold case such as: hashbrown or breakfast casseroles, Brunswick stew+biscuit, pimento cheese dip, chicken salad, and other tasty snacks. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (but you cannot bring your own alcohol onto the property due to the store's regulated liquor license), opened Tuesday-Sunday and usually 9am-7pm, year-round, and super-friendly folks in a quaint and historic store.

Bo Lynn's was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2017...it has been around since 1936 and is the oldest establishment in the small coastal community of St. Marks, south of Tallahassee. It was named after Miss Joy's husband Bo who has since passed. I often cycle there with friends and love hearing her saying how impressed she is that we "girls" cycled 16 miles to get there. The shop has everything from food and drink (very reasonably priced) to telephones, toasters, and more! Unfortunately in October 2018 the place suffered major flooding from Hurricane Michael, but efforts are underway to get inventory replenished and get it back to top shape. Miss Joy is the only employee and works 7am to 8pm daily...she has worked there since 1965! Miss Joy is full of southern charm and hospitality. Any time you are in the area, even if you don't think you need to buy something, drop in to check it out for yourself and come away with a slice of old Florida and hopefully some of her eclectic merchandise as well!

I struck conversation with the lady behind the register and asked her if there was a large Filipino community in the area, as I was shocked to see their food truck. She gave me their socials and told me that they're normally based in St. Marks, but travel around to different events and locations. They give you a buzzer that has a wide range, so you could go back to having a drink in the brewery or sit and wait in the car like I did. Sometimes I'm a bit skeptical about ordering Filipino food as some recipes have been altered to fit the American palate. I've been to many places who screwed up sisig. It's a typical meal to have after a night of drinking. It's my comfort food, so I was still excited to try it. When I tell you that I wanted to cry after the first bite! The pork used was a mix of the typical pig snout and ears and LECHON! It was so crispy and tender. It was a generous portion with rice, so I had enough left over for the next day. The only critique I have is that I wish it had more chili. I will be tracking Murillo's and ordering from them again.
