Recently bought a used boat from an on line ad and they held my hand scoping out the quality and condition and have been great advisors on customizing it. Highly recommend.

If you have a Honda, these are for sure the guys you want servicing your engine as they keep things running beautifully. You are paying for artisan craftwork, which most of the time you receive. Boat work, bottom painting and such are very pricey, but most other options around are just as pricey or more, and do not care as much as the team at the Boat guy. **Have had a problem with missed work on our boat and trailer, but they are responsive and have offered to fix it to ensure we are satisfied.** Engine work again is always spot on, and my fathers Honda 90hp has run seamlessly for years because of them. Went in today to buy an engine and would STRONGLY recommend them for that as well, and they had good prices, amazing service, and will make sure to test the engine for 2 hours. Robert was extremely helpful and priced out many options and had great expertise in what is needed for my sailboat. Andy is also extremely knowledgeable and personable, and works to keep customers satisfied, so it is no surprise he has a many repeat customers. They are not trying to force a sale, and have gone out of their way to help me. Great local business, you are paying a high price as with anything marine but here you are also getting expertise and help which you would miss elsewhere. Thank you Boat Guy!

I have been with him from my first 13' whaler to my present 23' Grady and all the whalers and Mako's in between. I went to the vineyard in my Grady in August one time and my engine alarm went off. I called Mike and he said call tow boat to get me back to the cape. He met me at the West Falmouth ramp, hauled my boat away. He had it fixed and in the water the next day. I dont have a negative word to say about him and would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, respectable man who does what he says. Mike has always looked after me and I assume he does that for all his clients.

I inherited a family boat (90 hp Johnson 2 stroke) that had some service history with Squeteague, so naturally took it there to have the engine looked at. (Stalling after shifting into gear). Dropped it off on July 3, and finally took it away from them (unfinished) on August 19. They were telling me that they next wanted to "try to correct the timing", but couldn't source the right wrench to do the job? A long, $1000.,story of really bad diagnostics, wrong repair guess work and awful customer follow up. I took it somewhere else to find out they rebuilt the carbs incorrectly, with crossed fuel lines and fuel bowls that leak. Bottom line, don't ever take your boat to Squeteague Harbor Marine for service!
