I have always had a good experience with this pharmacy until today. I'm sorry I don't know her name…read moreor how else to describe her but she is the only Asian woman I've seen working there. Keep in mind I've only lived in Midland for a year. We went to see the Good Doctor to get my father in law's prescription filled. He is blind and gets blister packs. This is his second month getting them which come to think of it, I wonder if they assume I know or knew I should go early to get it or how early? Anyways I'm not a mind reader....back to my review... the Asian woman at the counter explained after half an hour of waiting that they hadn't gotten his pills ready yet. I just mentioned we had a bus to catch in 15 mins because I was hoping they could make him a priority. She said sorry but I can have it delivered to you. Great! Thanks! We went home. I called just to see if they had an aprox time. This was 3.5 hours later. I wasn't angry just asking. It was the same woman on the phone as at the counter because she told me they have been very busy and I have been told 2x to come in earlier to get his prescription! I was shocked! I would never expect to be treated like an idiot like that. I explained that I didn't recall ever been told anything like that and she angrily said well you have been told 2x! I said excuse me! Have I ever met you? How do you know what I have been told or not told to be like this with me? I've never met you in my life! She said well you've been told 2x so you can come pick up your scripts tomorrow. I asked her to send it to Walmart. I am so upset with her. I hope management can listen to the phone call. Disgraceful treatment.

The entire staff, from my first contact, Ilona McIhone, to the dining room servers, were incredibly helpful always, and very kind to my friend. They truly embraced him as a "Chartwell Family Member". It made my position so much easier, as I was not able to be with him every day, but was confident that, if an issue arose, the staff would work with me, to help him. His suite was lovely, and he thoroughly enjoyed his time there. A special mention to the nursing and PSW staff, who truly cared about his welfare, and did much to support his mental and physical health during his stay. When he was finally moved to the hospital and then hospice, the entire staff mourned with me, and his friends, at his passing. Again, as the primary caregiver/POA, they were incredibly supportive and kind to me, which was most appreciated. Wonderful people. I'm very grateful.

This pharmacy is a nice deviation from the trend. I moved to this pharmacy from another, in Penetang, where I was not treated well. The difference is night and day, between the two places. To focus on just this particular pharmacy, however, this is what Iike about it - -professional, pleasant, and reliable staff -two people behind the counter instead of twenty -efficient service -no line ups, and... It's just a pharmacy. It isn't trying to sell you make up or makeovers or Christmas presents or clearance Axe products or stamps. You can get a few additional medical essentials at this place, and they have a little gift card rack for those "I forgot" situations. It is more clinical and (much) less commercial. In short - I highly recommend this place!
