However, this time when we called to have him come out to fix a wireless printing problem he stalled us for two weeks (the first excuse was that he was too busy to come out), didn't return our phone calls, then when he finally did speak with us, he told us that it wasn't worth his while to come out because "gas is too expensive". The owner, Chris, seems like a nice guy with too much going on. He is very knowledgeable, but not…read moredependable or predictable. Took my computer for a screen replacement that was supposed to be a few days. Though he received two faulty screens, he did a terrible job notifying me or keeping me updated for weeks. He did give me a loaner for free when the days became weeks and even months. The shop is closed at all sorts of odd times when they are supposed to be open. He said he had medical issues which I empathize with (have my own right now too), but he was unreachable by phone or in person for days. When I finally took my repaired laptop home (literally months later), several keys didn't work. I immediately called him to let him know. I figured maybe something wasn't reconnected correctly or had been bumped and was loose. He was offended that I accused him of damaging the keyboard, insisted that he hadn't taken the keyboard apart, and "refused to be responsible." I never accused him of any of those things. He offered to give me a break on labor, but said he would take a look at it to see what might be wrong and to bring it in the next day after noon. I showed up around 1pm the next day when the shop was supposed to be open and, unsurprisingly, he was not there and the door was locked. That was weeks ago and he never contacted me back. I then found a YouTube video addressing the issue, took the keyboard apart myself, disconnected the ribbon and reconnected it and, lo and behold, all the keys worked fine. The connection really was just loose. I love supporting local businesses. Just can't go back to this one again.

Listen. I don't EVER PUT A BAD REVIEW but I am really good at feeling things and I always get this…read morefeeling that this guy is stealing from us. We have gone and got a protector one week and gone back for the same phone and same guy and he charged us over $30 more for the same exact thing! It says alot about management as well because you can't tell me they don't know about it. And they keep him around because they like that he can swindle people and get away with it. I'll be contacting the B.B.B and my lawyer because we went to but one this week and he charged us $80 so when I got home I looked it up to see what the ideal price was for the privacy protector and it was under $20!!! So do yourself a favor and go somewhere where the prices stay the same. It's not OK and I always make sure to let him know that we are return customers after the fact so he knows that we have paid there before and he just ripped loyal customers off Another thing is... he tried to do my new Razr Flip phone and I said no I'm good. Lucky I did too because when you turn the phone on it says do not put anything like that on your phone or it will void the warranty. He should know this and not offer to do that. I'm sorry but after 8 times of being charged a different price for the same thing. I had to come say something. This is at the Brandon store..I know that a lot of people will over charge if given the chance. I have a tip for all people. When you go shopping. Ask how much things are because if you don't. They will just charge you anything. Trust me! I use to work for a guy that told me to do that. So always ask how much stuff is!!! Trust me!

Well i didn't need to get to them...so i didn't worry. When I tried a few weeks later..I couldn't get any to open. I tried to contact him several times and received no response. I decided to take it to another shop to see if they could retrieve any of the data from the disc hard drive and all the files were corrupted and didn't contain enough data to retrieve. They also pointed out that the SSD wasn't even being used...the operating system was booting from the disc hard drive not the Solid State Drive. They advised that they would have transfered the operating system to the SSD and partitioned off the bad start-up sequence on the disc hard drive...that way all of my data would have been saved ! When he installed my SSD to replace the disc hard drive that was operating the system he didn't transfer the start-up or operation system to the SSD. So basically.... he completely wiped my disc hard drive and all of my data with it when it could have been easily saved by a knowledgeable tech. Years of pictures...gone....What a waste!
