I like to come here because there's a AMC Theaters place here and a music hall. AMC Adult tickets there are like $9 a person

I opted to get a firm "standard" support backing to pair with my "lovesoft" seating. In my personal opinion so far, I would sink in a little too much with full lovesoft cushioning throughout the entire couch (seat and backing). The customer support that I received from the exemplary Lovesac team members like has been truly exceptional. Anthony especially has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Anthony was fully transparent in the communication process from start to finish, attentive and thorough. Anthony created a very enjoyable customer service experience with all of the attention to detail, explanations of the configurations for the couch and understanding my various questions and concerns along with changing some of the items throughout my purchase. This store has truly created a welcoming environment with great associates. Anthony has been a perfect example of what a great customer service experience is! Highly recommend considering placing Anthony into a high level management position, communication has been a huge help. When I called to get further assistance if Anthony was unavailable Coco too stepped up to help me, great job and amazing team! The value of the product aligns with the price, the texture of the material I ordered combed chenille is supple and soft. I would highly recommend this store for all friends and family along with future purchasing for myself.

Oh, The Galleria! My ex-husband is from Houston and I've…read morebeen to The Galleria many, many times. In fact, I started going long before I knew my husband. My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

Shopping can be hit or miss, and on this particular day, it was definitely a miss. My friends and I…read moreare dedicated bargain shoppers, and despite our best efforts, the Houston Galleria wasn't giving up any deals. With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.

I have a very specific place for…read moreit, but like Lebowski's rug, it's going to be one of those mythical pieces the "ties the room together." With that established, I'm not entirely certain what type or style of table I seek. Height's Common Market is chock-a-block full of furniture. It runs the gamut. Chairs, couches, lamps, beds, and yes tables of all varieties. All relatively inexpensive, but some pieces run a little pricey. From the exterior, it looks like an old flea market. The kind with rows of stalls, sawdust floors, and cantankerously old stall-minders. A place where you are convinced you'll find that mint condition, limited release record or the long lost pocket watch from The Gift of the Magi. Instead of finding that magical item, you go through each stall only to find ugly ceramic figurines of unicorns or dolphins. Thankfully, inside The Common Market, it's quite different. Lots of quality and a few "magically perfect" finds here. If looking for used furniture, this should definitely be one of your stops. The main room is a huge warehouse packed to the gills with furniture. Along one side there are a few rooms (watch your step up) with lamps, chairs, or a work room/repair shop. I never found the table I sought, however I'm closer on my path. I may venture back in a few weeks and find what I seek.

Every size, shape and thickness imaginable... but you can always have the piece re-sized for your needs. HCM always has, what looks to me, a lot of matching furniture that comes from closing businesses. (Think bank or hotel lobby.) So the durability and quality is there, but sometimes the look is... well, not. As for the non-business-looking stuff... most of it is awesome. You'll find ready to use furnishings as well as unique fixer-uppers. You can find bolts of fabric, both attractive and hideous, with which you can recover the lobby chairs! HCM is also a great place to find lamps and lamp shades, perfect for revamping according to your latest issue of DIY magazine. Word of advice: The more stuff you buy, Mr. A is more likely to cut you a great deal. Nothing is priced, so you'll have to ask the cost of anything you're interested in. Do NOT pay the first price he says. Find something else you like - 2 or 3 things, even if they're tiny knick knacks- and make an offer below his quote including both the little stuff & whatever he priced. If its reasonable, he's very likely to accept. HAPPY HUNTING!

Better than your average mall food court! About the service, I like how the different restaurants text you when your food is ready opposed to just standing there giving you the ability to explore around. All the restaurants staff has been very nice each time I've come. Make sure you make thoroughly sanitize the table that you decide to eat at. I watched the most disgusting thing occur yesterday: a couple changing their baby on the bare table. Nasty! They didn't even wipe the table down then I watched a couple bring food to that same table and eat off of it! Anyways, the ambience is always chill hence people doing whatever they want. I love the industrial look of the place. You can walk around and find different atmosphere of this place. I wish I'd known about this place sooner!…read more Chinese lion dancer here! Several of my teammates and I travelled to Houston to watch the Red, White, and Roar International Lion Dance Championships and it was INCREDIBLE! POST Houston is so hecking cool, boasting several great spots for photo ops, a Market with some absolutely delectable looking food, a rooftop park and garden, and so much more. I could easily imagine several reasons for visiting this venue, big event or none. Despite everything it has going for it, I did note a few drawbacks specific to this competition. The first notable issue was getting to a restroom. Because of the way the performance space was allocated and set up (it essentially blocked off a main atrium in the POST), we had to go outside and re-enter the building in a different location to access the bathrooms. While it was confusing at first and kinda sucked every time we needed to go, it was doable. The second only real complaint I had was with actually viewing the competition. Other than rows of chairs where it was difficult to see around the backs of other people's heads, there were two sections of risers for audience members to sit, though one was partially blocked by the building's pillars. If you weren't on the 'good risers' it was actually easier to see if you stood off to the side of the main stage, which in turn clogged the atrium even more and added to the accessibility issue as mentioned earlier. The emcee even had to periodically ask people to find different viewing points because it became an issue. Naturally this left the stairs behind the main stage to stand on to get a view as good as, if not better than, the Good Risers. The drawbacks here were that you couldn't hear as clearly, and, just like with the Good Risers, if you didn't get there fast enough or weren't waiting in the wings for someone to leave, you were kinda screwed. Truly this place was so cool, and if it wasn't for the spacing issue of the competition I would've given it 5 Stars. Parking wasn't too bad, it was easy to get food, the restrooms were consistently clean for the entirety of the 10 hours I was there, and architecturally it was just awesome. I have almost no doubts that the next time I visit, it'll be a 5 Star experience.

I really like Rice Village. Great shopping, great restaurants, plenty of places to wander around,…read moreand enough stores where you can apparently convince yourself that $80 workout shorts are a perfectly reasonable financial decision. But Houston, we need to talk about bathrooms. First, the good. Rice Village is a really cool shopping area. There's a great mix of stores, restaurants, coffee, and other places, and you can easily spend a few hours walking around. It's busy, lively, and definitely worth visiting. Parking, however, is congested and annoying. There are paid lots around the area, but when it's busy, be prepared to hunt for a spot and then walk. Honestly, that part doesn't bother me that much. It's a popular shopping district. I get it. What I don't get is the almost complete lack of accessible public bathrooms. You have an area filled with stores that would happily let you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars, but apparently asking for somewhere to pee is a bridge too far. Maybe businesses are worried about people coming in just to use their bathrooms. I understand there are legitimate issues businesses have to deal with. But there has to be some middle ground where the person buying expensive pants can also pee when nature calls. Pro tip: Starbucks has a bathroom. Of course, it was locked, there was a line, and you needed a code. At that point, finding a bathroom in Rice Village started feeling like a side quest. When you're standing in a shopping district with a parking lot full of $100,000-plus vehicles, surrounded by high-end stores and restaurants, and everyone is apparently on a scavenger hunt for a toilet, something has gone terribly wrong. Come on, Houston. Do better. Still loved Rice Village. Still recommend going. Great shopping, great food, and a fun place to spend an afternoon. Just use the bathroom before you get there.
