Oh wow I have found my new GoTo for electric service needs!…read moreI had a Smart panel installed from Ecoflow a couple weeks ago shortly after circuits were blown didn't really care too much for the guy that came out. Honestly I really wish I could've gone somewhere else, but I'd already paid a deposit on their work not knowing that Ecoflow just contracted about any old Electrician, I guess.. Anyways, contacted veteran electric as I'm a veteran as well so of course I will give them business before some random company. I was highly impressed by the work they did I watched them work very quickly and at a very reasonable price. I will be recommending them to my friends, family, and my customers as well. Thanks so much veteran Electric.

But when Veteran Electric came out for the estimate, it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. They also pointed out electrical code requirements that none of the other quotes mentioned, a sign they were thinking about doing it right, not just doing it fast. They're reliable and clearly know their craft.

I have used Nextdoor Electric once for actual work and also obtained three quotes from them. My…read moreusual electrical company, Blue Electrical Contractors, was super busy so I decided to try Nextdoor based on their Yelp reviews. I had them take down an old outdoor ceiling fan from my back porch and install two new ceiling lights: one in the same spot as the ceiling fan and the other over the seating area to provide more light (see photo). The job cost $572 which I thought was a little bit high, but I wanted the work done. Two big issues with the job: First of all, the technician didn't install the round ceiling light insulation discs in each fixture (see photo) which is to my understanding required to meet Underwriters Laboratory requirements. (The insulation is used to reflect heat from incandescent bulbs.) He also cracked one of the plastic conduit hangers so that it was actually broke. I found the insulation thrown in the garbage and had to dig them back out and have the technician come back to put them in and replace the broken hanger. Also, wasn't really keen on the fact that he used plastic hangers vs. metal to hang the conduit. Another issue was that I wanted a multi-outlet switch in my garage changed out to a standard outlet; see photo. Nextdoor quoted me $187 to change it out. Caido, from Blue Electrical Contractors stopped by and I had him look at it. It was only a cover; Caido unscrewed one screw and the regular outlet was underneath. I could have done it had I known this. It took Caid 5 seconds to take the multi-outlet cover off and he didn't charge me a thing. Okay. This is ridiculous! $187??!! This shows me the technician from Nextdoor Electric didn't even know what he was quoting. I was speaking to Caido from Blue Electric about Nextdoor and how I will never use them again, but can't understand their great reviews. Caido was telling me that Nextdoor's reviews could be fake and/or purchased. I really am questioning these reviews. I will never have them do any work for me again. Go with Blue Electric the next time you need electrical work; I have used them for years.

This required very long screws that were not painted and this was handled as well. The second task was to repair/replace and existing fan, again in a peaked ceiling of about 14'. Outstanding product and service!…read more We called Parco to install exterior lights in an otherwise dark and dreary entryway. Aaron and Wayne arrived on time and worked hard all day to install two lanterns and six can lights. To install the lanterns, they had to cut through drywall and brick to run electrical cable from the attic. Despite all the work to install the lights (on a hot November afternoon, none the less!), they left without a mess, and even swept and mopped the area they were working. Aaron and Wayne were courteous and professional all day - I truly enjoyed them working in the house! We most certainly will have them back out! In fact, we've already booked them for another project! After looking at a lot of reviews of firms capable of completing the project it was clearly evident that Parco was the right selection. Kim was a great resource in helping to review the best and most cost effective way to purchase the generator and how the whole process would evolve. Unlike other providers, they are straightforward and do not offer a bunch of other unnecessary add ons. Their goal was to provide a quality and cost effective finished product. Parco staff call you or text you back promptly responding to a question or request. When they made a commitment to schedule the installation, they stood by it. They explain what they are going to accomplish and why they are doing it that way. Aaron and his crew showed up on time and the installation was complete in about 4.5 hours. They do not take shortcuts and use high quality materials. Parco and the subcontractors were very professional and helpful. Even more important they have a rock solid maintenance and emergency response plan following the installation. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs quality service for a generator or any electrical requirement.
