Our power went out and it turned out our underground power wire was shredded. This was 2 days before the freezing temps were to arrive. We got an initial quote from another company and they claimed they couldn't do anything for 7 days. I can not say enough about James Culotta with Anthony Electric! I found him via Yelp. We called him around 5:00PM on a Saturday evening as our AC was not working and our AC guy said it was an electrical problem from a circuit breaker to the compressor. James drove over, changed his Saturday night plans and resolved our problem and was able to get our air back working. He stayed until almost 10! On a Saturday!! We've had them out to our house 3 or 4 times now. They do great work, are reasonably priced, nice guys, and extremely knowledgeable. So far, we've had them fix one of the circuits that went out in our house, add a new outlet into a utility room so we could put in a freezer, and I think we're up to 5 ceiling fans they've installed for us. We also had them come out and check out another issue that turned out to be a really simple fix. On their first visit to our new home, they were also able to point out the things not up to code that the home inspector missed. It also looks like the other review on Yelp is an equally positive review but the person got the stars mixed up. Either way, I'd definitely recommend Anthony Electric. read more

I've been doing business with Anthony electric for almost 30 years and I have never found an electrician or any other tradesman as knowledgeable as James Culotta. The man can literally quote you a code reference from the code book on almost any question you have. James has installed several breaker boxes for me and other members of my family. Years ago he rewired my mothers house that was an all aluminum house with copper wiring and the professional work that he did that day looked like it was done while the house was being built. Me and my wife built a house last December, the house is in the upper 500's and every bid that my builder receives was outrageous and every electrician wanted to wire my house with 14gauge wire so we called James and without delay he showed up and went over the plans and broke it down in terms that even my wife understood. He wired our house with all 12 gauge wire and was way above what the code called for at a very reasonable price. This was the first Christmas we actually spent in the house and we installed Christmas lights and once we plugged them up I surprised my wife, see James recommended putting light switches inside to control those lights when needed so there was no unplugging wires she absolutely loved it.
