This is the first time we've stayed at a Baymont. It is $40 cheaper than the hotel we usually stay at when we are in Snyder. I like that the room is inside the larger building. That adds a layer of security. It looks clean with the exception of one drawer which has an empty bag of chips and drops of something gooey. The tub has some stains. The bed is comfortable but the chair is not. The TV, air conditioner and refrigerator work. One lamp doesn't work. I think it's a burned out light bulb. So far I am happy with our choice to save $40. We are here to visit family on Labor Day. We won't be spending a lot of time in the room. We are likely to give it another try next time we visit relatives in Snyder. The pool is actually better than the one where we usually stay for a higher price. The pool is larger and it has a hot tub. That would be important to me if I was traveling with children. A decent sized pool for kids and an attached hot tub for the adults watching the kids. read more

Dirty and very dated. There was a blood stain on our pillow. I asked for another clean pillow and was told the most they could do was offer a clean pillow slip. The curtains were dirty and it looked as if something had splashed on them, filthy bathroom tiles, and the refrigerator made loud noises all night. read more

Assesable King room. Right off loby on main floor. Large room but with issues. Good King bed, No microwave in room and frt desk not concerned to correct. ONE trash can! Side chair in room worn, dirty and way too low for this type room to enjoy. No desk chair. Cleaning smell was overwelming! Roll in Shower is slicker than s..... while standing. Very poor. Tv didn't work, dirty socks on floor from last guest. Refrigerator dripping water all over the floor (it was full of ice from freezing up), remote to TV had not been cleaned off and had something on it. Floors were dirty not vacuumed or swept. Breakfast ends at 9 but they had already started locking up the food at 8:30: house keeping came in the room at 9:55 am just unlocked door and came in, no toilet paper in room. My wife and I stayed here this past Monday through Wednesday and it was fantastic from start to finish. The lady in the front was very nice and helpful and already had my key ready .The air was already turned on in our room and it was close to the indoor pool, ice machine and the side door to the parking lot for easy access to our vehicle. The hot breakfast from 6 to 9 AM was quite delightful. The room was comfortable. except the air conditioning would sometimes turn off instead of being at the temperature it was set it to which would make it hot. Lasted only maybe 1 hour and then it will go back to cold again. We will be back for sure! read more

My 15 year old daughter and I tried to stay here and left in the middle of the night terrified by the amount of drunk rude local workers that showed up around dusk, approximately 150. We were having a nice set up of snacks in the lobby pryor to their arrival, and then when they started pouring in we decided to head to the pool while all eyes followed my teenage daughter like meat on a spit. Shortly after getting there some of the hoard actually followed her to the pool in work boots and filth like something from Charlie Brown's pig pen character toting coolers of beer which were emptied in what seemed a matter of minutes. With bloodshot eyes bulging at my obvious underage daughter I tried to make light by saying, can you believe your going into 10th grade in the fall, attempting to tip these men off that she was a child, but to no avail on these individuals. I could hear banjo music playing in my head as I escorted out of the pool and up to our room, only to be followed by several of them to our floor. I waited till they got off the elevator and stood there with her and rode it another flight up and waited before going back down again. When we tried talking to the front desk about what was happening we were taunted as if we were the problem as this seems to be the norm in this town. We tried to hide out and get some rest but we were woken by slamming and banging in the hallways, drunk loud voices continuously for several hours. We packed it up around midnight, called the Sheriff and asked to be escorted out. If you plan on traveling with daughters...Stay here at your own risk. I would like to share that this is my second time staying at the Baymont Wyndham in Snyder Texas from the moment we arrived we were greeted by Veronica at the front desk she had a great smile and awesome customer service answered all of our questions and always asked if their was anything else she could help us with. Her manager Angelica was also so good and helpful she was not present but was called on her day off by Veronica was very attentive and took care of everything even on her day off that says so much. The price was not bad. I thought the room looked clean, but was very disappointed when I went to bed. I got in the bed and felt something on my foot. I pulled the covers back and there was a girls hair tie in the sheets. This tells me I didn't have clean sheets on my bed. read more

Front desk Veronica has the biggest smile and made us feel at home. I recommend the Baymont Snyder. This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever been in. The walls were dirty. Curtains and carpet stained with mystery stains. There was furry mold growing on the floor in front of the little fridge in the room. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed in a very long time! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We have the unfortunate "pleasure" of having to stay in this disgusting, molded hotel. First let's start with the customer service, I had to deal with was Erica. She was impolite, and didn't care about anything I had said. There was chemicals left out in the hallway, with me being a parent that is a problem. You don't leave stuff out that can harm someone else's children because of your own inability to care to be responsible. Second, the morning of there was no television, but there was the night before. No internet and their own phones wouldn't even call down to the front desk. That's when I met Erica, all she had asked was what floor the chemicals were on, and then informed me someone else had complained about the tv and the internet is fine, it just doesnt reach the 3rd floor. I'm sorry but excuse me you advertise high speed internet but what you don't say is, it doesn't reach the top floor. Get better internet. This is our biggest issue, when we had checked into our hotel it was raining, when the rain became more apparent so did the problems with this hotel. It was pouring into our room from the window! When my husband asked for someone to fix it the lady said "um we dont fix windows and we dont have a maintenance man." Uh so you don't fix anything? I travel for a living and spend 1/2 of my year in hotels. This was the friendliest, most competent staff I've encountered in a long time. The ladies at the desk were funny and charming, the woman in the dining hall was smiling and helpful. Although the carpets could use some updating and seemed a little grubby, the room was perfectly clean. Shower pressure was average, the bed was a dream. There were real scrambled eggs and good strong coffee, too! If it wasn't for the older carpet and the fact that you have to unplug the lamp to charge your devices by the bed, this would be a 5 star review. read more

Booked a room thru the Wyndham website apparently it didn't go all the way through. When I arrived they did not have the reservation and all I had was an email saying my visa had been charged. The young man at the desk was very helpful and courteous the Manager was a different story. She kept saying they didn't deal with 3rd party vendors, took me several tries to convince her I had gone thru there app. I finally said just book me a room and her reply was "I won't honor their rate" and marched off to her office. We were tired, hungry and overall physically worn out, it had been a long drive. Finally at the distance I saw that beautiful sign and with a joyful breath I announced that we had arrived. It appeared as if we were in an Oasis, the rooms were phenomenal, the indoor pool was made for a castle but most important was Adam the Front Desk Clerk. He was very polite and professional, took time to explain to us the amenities of the hotel and provided us with a toothbrush that my little girl needed all while tending to more than 20 people waiting to check in (there was a baseball tournament and the lobby was full. Passing through the area, my coworker and I must've called 30 different hotels in and around the area and this is the only place that would give us the state rate. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and when we checked in there was an assortment of freshly made cookies waiting. Within five minutes of getting to my room the front desk lady called to make sure everything was ok with my room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. One of only a couple live-able places in this town to stay. The breakfast leaves alot to be desired, and I'm sure the mgr and some staff live on the top floor. Strange. There is usually always something broken here, and they aren't anxious to fix. Typical west Texas attitude I've found. My husband and I stayed here for a basketball tournament. The room was clean, air conditioner was cold, great water pressure in the shower. It was a very cozy stay! The price was terrific and the staff was amazing! So sweet and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!!! read more

Stayed here passing through fr Midland......the only hotel for miles that allowed pets but told us they would charge the credit card extra for dog fur!?! Other than that it was a little difficult to find since the address didn't work but the front desk staff was very helpful with guiding us. The bed was AMAZING after driving for 18 hours it was definitely worth it. The price was a little high for two adults and two pets. Also the pool hour are kinda crazy considering there is no lifeguard on duty ever but yet had set hours which i understand but were two adults Also thry had vending machines and washer and dryers but no change machine. We've stayed at a lot of hotels and would definitely stay at this one again just a couple of small little things that were annoying after being in a car for so long. read more

What an awful experience! I set up the reservation through Priceline and had a special request for a room with two beds. This cannot be done through Priceline, but must be handled with a phone call to the hotel after the reservation is made. The person on the line was unable to handle this request - she stated that I needed to make this request through Priceline. She never stated that she couldn't make the change for me - only that she WOULDN'T do it. Fine - I brought a foam pad for the floor. The shower was FILTHY. Mold was throughout the shower on the grout and the shower liner. The "free" breakfast was worth it's price (we all know we really paid for it when we rented the room...). Warm (not hot) coffee - bleh. A few danishes and some cereal. Ok, Ok - what did I expect? Whatever - I've traveled a LOT, though, and for the price, this was a big-time rip-off. We thought she was just being nice but came to find out she was being a B acting like we didn't belong there.
