They give such awesome advice & details about the products purchased. There are so many options with any medium & every item is clearly carefully chosen to have the best quality materials for the price. The prices are very competitive with the big box stores, but you are overly compensated with what the staff has to offer. I will most definitely be back for another visit soon!

He's taking the drawing class for 4-6th grade. There are classes for both younger and older kids, as well as adults. 5 stars cause my son, who wouldn't take direction/criticism from anyone and wouldn't even do the class projects when he took art classes elsewhere. That kid had obviously learned shading and is putting it into his own drawings at home. Idk how the teacher, Mr Bob, did it, but I appreciate it.

This is regarding the Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio store…read more "Hobby Lobby values customer satisfaction with or without the receipt." That might be true, except if it is a defective product and is no longer carried, the customer is out of luck. I bought $250 worth of yarn for my church prayer shawl group. 2 of the skeins I wanted to return because the product did not knit well. I used half of one and did not try to return it. The fibers came untwisted and stretched where another color was inserted to make the confetti effect. They refused to take them other two back, because it is no longer carried. My guess is it was discontinued due to this problem! So instead of refunding $7 or allowing me to get 2 different skeins, they made an unhappy customer. Not exactly good for a store that professes Christian values. Michael's is right across the street!

Some yarn I use is exclusively Michaels brand and frustrated when I can't find it. I'm out of 2 colors to finish a project. The app showed it in stock. Knowing the overstock is kept in the lower bin- I pulled it open to see if there was some (keep in mind it showed in stock). An employee came up and snapped Can I help you? Asked me if I" even bothered to look to see if it's on the shelf" - and if I want something she will scan and check. Yes, I have paper but anyone who crafts knows that sometimes you need just the right shade to make the whole thing look fabulous. I'm a regular shopper at Michael's especially since A) Joann Fabrics has closed and B) I hate hobby lobby and only shop there if I absolutely have no other choice. This location is extremely well stocked, full of awesome stuff and very busy. They have the usual fanfare of crafting stuff, but for some reason it really was a more than pleasant time here for my shopping needs. Stores very clean and organized, stuff is mostly easy to locate and they have decent coupons if you look online before you go. Micheals are usually in good working order, but whomever is running this store clearly does an amazing job of keeping it together. I like that they have the self checkout kiosks because, like today, I just had a few sheets of paper and probably could have checked myself out but stood in line because it was hot and I was tired. Overall fantastic experience. One of the best Micheals I've been to in a long time!

The positives.... the customer service is fantastic! We called to take place an order for a boutonniere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and asked what we needed specifically. We told Schrams that we were wanting something black and white to match the kids prom attire. They had the boutineer ready in plenty of time. When my daughter picked up the boutonniere staff were attentive and pleasant. The negatives: This is a rather sad, small, plain boutonniere. With a $25 price tag I would expect more than two miniature roses. There is no black on this boutonniere. We were expecting a small ribbon or something to jazz up the boutonnière. We have purchased Boutonnieres from other floral shops, and always had something a little more special. I am not sure if the simplicity of this boutonniere and the lack of detail is due to the amount of prom orders right now and they got overwhelmed, or if someone just phoned it in on this particular order. I was underwhelmed to say the least. Next time I place an order I'll be a bit more specific and maybe even send a photo of what we have in mind. That being said, I will try them again in the future.
