Great shop. Very nice staff and so much to choose from. They also have a huge clearance section.read more

A Masterpiece of Service -- Bernina Stitchin' Post, Walbridge, OH…read more Walking into Bernina Stitchin' Post wasn't just about buying a sewing machine--it was about taking a leap toward investing in myself. And thanks to the incredible team of Kim, Ron, Jacob, and Connie, that leap felt not only possible, but joyful, supported, and absolutely right. From the start, Kim was everything you could hope for in a teacher: knowledgeable, patient, and full of contagious enthusiasm. Learning the ins and outs of the B790 Pro with her guidance made me feel empowered. She didn't just explain features--she made the machine come alive. And spending time with her was genuinely fun, like chatting with a friend who just happens to know everything about the Bernina universe. Ron and Kim helped me make the decision to buy the machine--but what set them apart was their honesty. There was no pressure, no pushiness--just sincere belief in the product and in my ability to use it. Their integrity shone through, and I left feeling not sold to, but supported. And then there was Jacob--sharp-eyed and kind-hearted--who noticed something with the bobbin winding that I didn't even know I needed to learn. That one small teaching moment meant so much to me. It was yet another example of how this family-owned shop cares about the person, not just the purchase. Connie welcomed me with warmth and grace. Her friendliness made the whole experience feel like coming home. She made sure I felt comfortable, valued, and part of something special. In total, I spent four hours in the shop--and it flew by. I left not just with a powerful machine, embroidery module, service plan, training, and extras... I left with something even more valuable: confidence, joy, and a renewed belief in my own creativity. This shop doesn't just sell sewing machines. They empower people to dream again. Thank you, Kim, Ron, Jacob, and Connie. You made me feel like more than a customer--you made me feel seen, encouraged, and inspired. Bernina Stitchin' Post is a true five-star gem, and I'm grateful to be part of its story. -- Joey

Grear customer service and I have never not found someone who really knows their fabrics, or a lot…read moremore than me about notions. one on one help great, the staff know how to help with a project. I think there is a fabric there for most projects. looking forward to seeing what new fabrics come in!!

There used to be two Fabricland's in Windsor, one in the South end, but I can see why they closed…read more Fabricland is supposed to be your store for your sewing, quilting, and fabric needs and I feel like it's gone downhill in the past years. It seems Fabricland doesn't care about the upkeep of their stores and to keep it uniform with other locations, which the closest one is London. Walking in, it looks like you're walking into a cluttered mess. They have carts you can use to put the bolt of fabric, but the wheels have been taken off and you're dragging it across the store, which is kind of archaic. Where are the shopping carts, because bolts are heavy and dragging them around in a measly small cart can be ridiculous. The fabric selection, which is why I was in was very bleak and no selection of nice ones at all. No variety or much colours, and everything was scattered so I wasn't sure where to go as to find something I liked. They had a sale area of $5 a metre, which is still pretty expensive, I was looking with my mom because this is her thing, and she wasn't very impressed. She had a member card, a coupon from online and a gift card, and it was still a lot of money for what she picked out, which wasn't a lot. The woman who cut her fabric was great, but the rest of the staff seemed bleak and bored of being there. The cash register was ancient in it's own way and having to make any changes seems difficult. Fabricland needs to up it's game if it wants to stay in the business, I see other small fabric stores popping up all over the place. Plus, since we're so close to the states here in Windsor, Joann Fabrics is pretty easy to drive to, a small hop, skip and a jump across the boarder for us Windsorites
