Ingrid and team were spectacular. It was a huge process and I couldn't imagine getting it done on time without Ingrid's help and creativity. I seriously could not recommend Benefits Experts and Ingrid enough. About two years ago I nervously looked into life insurance. I knew I needed it but, was…read moreembarrassed about knowing so little about the process. Jim sat my wife and I down and answered every question in a way that made us feel comfortable and more importantly, not ignorant! It is a skill that I feel is lost on most businesses these days. About a year after setting up our life insurance we decided to look into auto insurance as well. This time we spoke with Irene in his office. Jim is good but, Irene took us under her wing like we were a couple of her own kids. I never expected this from an insurance company. They all advertise it. Few live up to it. I won't mention our previous insurance company, but suffice it to say they fell far short in service and we never saw them, so absolutely no chance of fostering a familiar relationship. Last week a buddy asked me about life insurance. I was feeling a little rusty about the differences between Term and Universal. I happened to be in the neighborhood of Jim's office so I stopped in without an appointment. This time Max helped me. Irene was busy working her magic with another family. What do you know, Max was awesome too! He sat me down, told me everything I needed to know, and I was able to explain the differences to my buddy who like me was uncomfortable about his lack of information on the subject. Now he is going to talk to them. How savvy is that! They are so good at what they do that they have me selling life insurance commission free! Phillip Mobley

I started off with a good experience, as soon as I had a car accident that I was not at fault of!…read moreMy rates went up (understandably because I got a newer car) the only odd thing is is that my rates have been fluctuating EVERY MONTH. Even an agent there was confused and said that my rate should only change every 6 months and they would call to ask if im okay with it! Ive been told that I will have a "spread" that will only happen for 3 months (which I did not authorize) and it would stop but it has not! And since then had no explanation and continuously been told id get a call so they could explain and I've gotten no calls. I also have repeatedly texted and called and asked them to stop my life insurance and they said they would yet I'm still getting charged. In the photos included, the fluctuating charges are shown. Update: The charges were explained and the agency owner contacted me and worked with me to try and resolve the issues I had. It seems alot was out of the staff and agencys hands so I dont blame them . I still will say that I dislike that Statefarm gave me alot of these problems and confusion when it came to monthly payments as the amount I paid every month wasnt constant, it was explained to me that this is because it takes a while for the system to process discounts and account changes, which the system to me was a but frustrating, and confusing to work with , it had caused me worries of being over charged and I decided to move to another insurance company that ended up being alot cheaper. I just hope that Statefarm as a whole resolves these issues with the system and when someone speaks to an agent that charges will be clear to the customer before they begin to pay , id like to have my charges laid out so I know what to expect, when changes are made , I assume that would have to take a change in the system to make it process changes in a timely manner so it will make it both clear to staff and customers. For now if your a customer and worried about this , I would stick to either no auto pay or semi annual/annual payments. Again I did have the Agency owner reach out to me and explain everything, although it was still confusing from what they told me its not their fault so I dont blame them.

When it came time to buy another policy I couldn't bare to give my business to a so-so agent, where every question I had felt like pulling teeth. When you're paying thousands of dollars for life insurance, you want to know that the person who's handling your policies knows the business inside and out so that you're getting security that's the right fit for your family. I shouldn't have to explain to an agent why I want to backdate a new policy by a few months right?! So I jumped on trusty Yelp and found Jonathan. From the first phone call, I knew Jonathan was it - he's super professional and knows his stuff. He listens to what we want, doesn't oversell, and is a genuinely nice and personable guy to deal with. I'd give him an extra star if I could for his willingness to drive an hour away to where we live with zero hesitation and a smile on his face. If something horrible happens to our family, I want to know my life insurance agent is going to go the extra mile to be professional, knowledgeable, responsive, personable AND communicate well to make sure my family understands our life insurance benefits. I trust Jonathan to be that person for our family. I highly recommend Jonathan for all of your life insurance needs!
