We are so happy we decided to stay as we see an increased level of confidence and a more positive attitude about learning new concepts. She enjoys coming to her sessions and working on concepts from school as well as concepts selected by Engenius. Heidi and the tutors have been very encouraging and positive when working with my daughter. They have all created a warm and supportive environment for the kids and really care about each child and their development. I am so glad to have found Engenius and know my daughters confidence and academic ability will continue to soar.

My 9 years old daughter just had our first meeting with Heidi. The reason we signed my daughter up…read morewith the tutoring center is because my daughter just switched school and we want her to do well in the new school. Heidi is amazing!! During the 30 minutes we met with her, she was able to point out all the important things that we can do to make learning fun and exciting. My daughter felt so comfortable with Heidi and was able to carry a very meaningful conversation during the 30 minutes. I also feel that she really cares about her students. Our first lesson is tomorrow with Ms. Heidi and we cannot wait!!! We also talked to Mike before signing my daughter up for the program and Mike is very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge!!

If you have a student who learns differently, trust this group to help your student…read more I first found Links Through Learning on the website for Willow Glen Middle School. One of the teachers was suggesting this group to students. At the time I was anxious. My well read son was writing at second grade level and about to move on to middle school for 6th grade. He couldn't write a sentence. He could produce a fragment or a multi-content filled run on. Neither would work in his upcoming grade year. Fortunately we had the Summer, and those months Brea Romero had time. She got to know my son, instantly knew how to work with him. Got him up to speed a few weeks before school was to start again, just meeting once a week. Ah-maze-ing! Now I have his younger brother with high anxiety and dysgraphia. She is slowly getting him to first be comfortable with the "formulating your thoughts" process of writing and easing him into help from technology (Google Chrome, dictation) and hopefully into written work. It is a longer road and he is ending his fourth grade year this year. I have already witnessed rapid progression. We did return for two "brush up" sessions for my older son because his wonderful writing was not responding to the question and his teacher hated to give it a low mark. Totally impressed with what a couple hours could do to get him to see he hadn't answered the question and produce a new draft that made his teacher quite pleased.

I was told she could help my son get better at reading, entering 6th grade I felt a need to help…read moreenhance his skills. After taking an assessment test that was "Mandatory", which he did not really need as I had his Star testing assessments, this was just an added fee, I was told he tested well he just needed to possibly read "faster", as he was a slower reader. Every time I went there she was reading to him and she was writing down his homework? How is this helping my son??? Also, most of her clients were female private school studies who she was helping write their Dissertations for college or whatever they were doing. I don't feel I should have been charged the same amount of $$ for a service where none was provided, for me anyway. Buyer beware!

We've had an excellent experience with RSM San Jose, especially with my son's Calculus BC teacher,…read morewho also serves as the principal. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely invested in his students' growth. His teaching helped my son develop a deep understanding of calculus rather than simply memorizing formulas or learning test-taking strategies. With his guidance, my son earned a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. More importantly, he continued to encourage my son's interest in mathematics and helped him build the confidence and strong foundation needed for advanced math courses. Thank you!!

In order to catch him up we signed up for tutoring with Doug Unger. Doug was AMAZING. He caught my son up the best that he could with the limited time he had and gave my son the confidence he needed to take the class. We just got back his test score and he passed with a 3. There is NO way my son would have been able to pass without Doug's help. My only regret is waiting to get a tutor (we signed up in April). Doug basically caught my kid up in 6 weeks. So a big thank you to Doug!!!

There are always engaging and creative activities, and our little one has made wonderful friends here. We also truly appreciate the warm and friendly parent community. It's easy to communicate and connect with other families. A special thank you to Ms. Sree and Miss Cyndi, who are incredibly caring, responsible, and organized. Every activity is thoughtfully planned and executed with love. We feel so lucky that our child was able to spend an entire preschool year in Room 2. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing and well-rounded preschool experience!

Stratford: the most expensive way to get less education…read more Stratford operates like a corporation first and a school second. My daughter attended from age three through 4th grade. We chose to withdraw because the 5th-grade campus commute would have been unreasonable. We communicated this intention clearly and repeatedly, in person, to the principal (Preethi Chadha) and her 4th-grade teacher. Despite that, Stratford charged a 10% withdrawal fee on annual tuition, claiming notice was not submitted to the "corporate" office. At no point did anyone proactively flag this requirement, remind us, or make any effort to prevent the fee--after years of tuition and what we believed was a community relationship. The result felt less like a policy and more like a revenue mechanism. Moving to Los Gatos public schools was eye-opening: materially better support, stronger administration, and none of the "tuition-with-fees" experience. To be clear, our criticism is not of the teachers--we had several excellent educators doing their best. The issue is administrative and institutional. If you're considering Stratford, go in with clear eyes: their priorities are corporate first, families second.
