Second, the ramp was installed but not safe for me or my client to use. Someone could've tripped on it, and/or my client could've fallen off the side of the ramp that wasn't secured. They would not make it safe for my client. Instead, they removed it. I asked them for her $1000.00 deposit back, and they refused to refund her. Please do not use this company. David was the guy who helped me and did a diagnostic test with the battery. Gave me a reasonable price $60 to test, and inspect my scooter. He said everything is still good. But the battery is dead. David offered to get me a new battery off Amazon and didn't spike the price. Dude is pretty honest and helpful so thank you, David for helping me out.

I didn't realize how much of a problem it was getting to be for me....stepping in and out of a tub/shower that we have in the guest bathroom. I was amazed today when I took a shower there and the grab bars were in the perfect position to help me get in and get out without a worry of slipping. I even utilized the bar to stabilize myself while toweling off. They are very sturdy and he managed to get them well-anchored into studs. I recommend Nick highly, it was a very pleasant experience from the beginning until the end, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him in the future if I need more help with safety!

This company is a joke. Needed a scooter for a weeklong trip to San Francisco. The scooter was…read morescheduled to be delivered at 2:30 on Saturday. We get to the hotel and it is not there. Call the number and they say they can't get in touch with their warehouse, because we arrived a little late and would have to call back in the morning. Call back the next morning (must have the scooter that morning) and first they claim they do not deliver on Sundays, then they say they are trying to reach the driver from the day before, but he is at church. The driver then gets back to them and he says he delivered the scooter to the hotel on FRIDAY and said a rude woman told him to leave it in a banquet room. So we are on the phone with the delivery guy searching the hotel with the hotel engineer and the manager for a mystery scooter. Then another Scootaround employee calls me and says they are bringing another scooter to me. Fast forward a week later, we are leaving to fly home. I arrange for the scooter to be picked up at our hotel at 8 am. Getting on the plane at 10 and the hotel calls me because, you guessed it, they have not shown to pick it up. They literally cannot provide the service their company claims to provide.

At the fair, I had two disabled family members with mobility issues who really needed an electric unit. From 1pm - 9pm, at least 30 electric scooters sat in the tent, unused. We were told that all are reserved; however, nobody came to use them. The staff was nice and just doing their jobs however ADA-protected individuals suffered. Why would a company hold that many units all day and that late in the day?
