We contacted Freddy because he had been our regular gutter cleaning service for the entire neighborhood for years. He had always done a good job, but this time was different. We prepaid for an extra cleaning, but Freddy never showed up. Despite leaving multiple messages on several phone numbers, we never received a response. We have little hope of recouping our money or hearing from him again but certainly won't be recommending him ever again. 8/31/24 UPDATE: Bay Area has reached out to let us know that the owner has been having some medical issues and they are committed to making things right. Paid for 4 gutter cleanings last May, but cannot get them to show up to complete the work. Bay Area scheduled to show up several times, only to no-show. We hired Bay Area Home Services to clean out our gutters and haul away some junk. The owner Freddy was very responsive to my quote request, and asked lots of important follow-up questions to give me an accurate price. We live in a 3-story townhome, which makes it particularly difficult to have our gutters cleaned affordably. Freddy quoted us $189 for the gutters (which was on par with the other quotes we received) and then $40 to remove a pile of junk (wood boards, concrete blocks, etc.) and we scheduled an appointment a week or two out. He texted me to confirm the night before, showed up on time, and finished the job thoroughly but quickly! Everything looked great and he took the time to give me some gutter advice as a new homeowner (our back gutters were clogged). As an FYI, he accepts cash/check or credit card with an additional fee. This company was timely in their response for a quote to undertake pressure washing of the siding, soffits, and flashing on my two-story home. Once the project was scheduled, they arrived on-time, conducted a quick walk-around the job-site, discussed the project with me with ensure that there were no changes needed, and then they began the work. They were very thorough, used pet-friendly cleaning chemicals, and they were careful to not cause any work-related incidental property damage. When the work was complete, they wrapped up their tools and equipment and left the property as they had found it. Their work was excellent, and their price quote was reasonable and fair. I had Freddie come out to clean my gutters last month. After the next rain, I noticed that my front downspout had pulled completely away from the gutter. It seemed coincidental that this occurred after the gutter cleaning; prior to that it was fine. I contacted Freddie about the problem but he would not agree to come back to address the problem. In addition he was rude and defensive stating that he did not cause the issue. Regardless of the cause, it is poor customer service to Not come back to help out the customer. read more

Contracted BAHS for gutter cleaning and tightening of downspouts on my parent's home. Freddie came alone and did a great job of unclogging and adjusting loose parts. Gutters are not clogged anymore and it's a good feeling. I liked the service, but the amount charged for gutter cleaning on a small house was higher than expected so I might shop around. It would be great if they offered a veteran's or senior discount to help offset the cost for senior citizens that served in the armed forces. read more

He thoroughly explained the process and answered all questions that I had since I have never had my gutter cleaned. Freddy and Dwight came out to help me clean out a very large workroom and garage because I was having a walk-thru for a closing on my house in just a few hours. I don't know how I was so fortunate to have found such pleasant, professionals as they are. There was nothing they wouldn't do to help. They even offered to blow out the extensive decking, workroom and garage free of leaves and debris.
