When helping my sister to plan her wedding reception at a venue that did not have any lights, we were in search of a budget option that would also provide the pretty aesthetic she was seeking. I reached out to a number of different lighting vendors, and found that Bay Area Event Lights offered a far more affordable options for the bistro style lighting than any other vendor I spoke to. Throughout the planning process Holley was super responsive to my emails and easy to get in touch with. On the day of our event, the lights went up and came down quickly and without a hitch, and were a beautiful and charming addition to our decor. I would highly recommend Bay Area Event Lights for your event! read more

Our wedding venue at Saratoga Springs have a partnership with BAEL so we were referred by them. I contacted and emailed Symone. She was so nice and helpful. She booked us an appointment to discuss about the details of what we wanted for our big day. They're business location is in Campbell and was easy to find. Symone wasn't available so we were welcome by Nathan. He went over everything with the lights and decorations. He show us many demonstrations and examples with pictures of what to expect. We were amazed and booked right away! On our wedding day, they had everything setup before the cock tail hour & reception. They made everything easy for us with no worries. We got a lot of compliments from our guests that the lights were amazing which made our wedding like a fairytale. I highly recommend booking with BAEL for your wedding, parties, etc. Thanks again you guys for making our day special! read more

I had met with Bay Area Event Lights in person to request a quote for my upcoming wedding light needs. I met the individual at my wedding venue, he asked me what exactly I was looking for, took measurements and pictures, and said he will get back to me with a quote later on in the day. This was about one month ago and I never heard from them again. Not only did they waste my time making me drive to my venue to meet them, but they also wasted the time of my wedding coordinator who also came to meet us. It's unfortunate because they not only lost me as a customer, but I will definitely not be recommending them to anyone else who needs lighting for any event. Luckily I found a much better, more responsive service for my lighting needs! read more

We love BAEL! The team is professional and as swift as ninjas. We did not even see them on our wedding day because they seamlessly set up all the lighting without a hitch. We went with the "Hakone special" (a package they had especially for our wedding venue) which included bistro lights, lanterns, vintage street lamps behind the sweetheart table, and warm white up-lights. The lighting was perfect for our reception and evening. Everything went smoothly and without any hiccups. We could not recommend them more! read more

I can't even begin to explain how easy it was to work with BAEL. They were so accommodating, responsive, and detailed. They have a great staff with tons of knowledge and recommendations. Holley was so amazing from beginning to end. She checked in with us and always making sure we were happy. Thank you so much!! We really appreciated all your help especially when there was so much going on. We had our wedding at Saratoga Springs at the Longbridge area. It's a really big area and all the lights BAEL added for us turned out perfect. We had additional bistro lights, LED trees, vintage street lamps, rail wraps, uplighting for trees, AND they hung up cranes for us. I don't even know how they pulled that off, because we gave them a lot and it was awesome! Seriously, if you're trying to find a team you can rely on for a special event, this is who you want. Out of all the vendors we had worked with, I would say without a doubt, BAEL was my favorite. Thank you guys sooo SOO much!! read more

We were looking for permanent bistro lights in our backyard and upon searching in yelp came across Bay Area Event Lights. They did a splendid job. Holley from BAEL was quick to send her team for assessment and followup on the job. Nathan and his team did a clean and highly professional job. Everyone in my family and friends loved it. Their pricing seems reasonable too for the top class work they do. Not even a single wiring is seen hanging, I am in love with my backyard. We will definitely look into working with them for holiday lights. Highly recommend!! read more

Bay Area Event Lights completely transformed my wedding venue! I cannot recommend them enough! From the onsite consultation through the event take down, they were incredibly professional throughout the entire process. My husband and I got married in a ballroom, and I was very concerned the space was going to feel boring and bland. BAEL recommended several creative options to bring the space to life, including stringing Edison lights indoors to make it feel like a bistro, and also illuminating the garden with stunning light-up cherry trees. We received so many compliments on their work during the party. BAEL was one of the easiest vendors I worked with, and they delivered amazing results! 5 stars! read more

Bay Area Event Lights did a lovely job lighting our wedding! The runs of bistro lights created the perfect glow that I had to take some time to just stand back and take in. Holley was extremely easy to work with and very attentive during the planning process. On the day of, we had a slight hiccup with some of the runs of lights not working (not BAEL's fault, but a problem with the outlets at the venue). BAEL immediately rushed back to our venue and had them working within 10 minutes, before the sun even set. This kind of professionalism really takes a load off of your shoulders on wedding day. BAEL are SO amazing to work with. It seems they are basically always willing to do whatever it takes to make their customers happy, and experience the coolest light setups ever. Whatever it takes! I love, love, loved working with BAEL! They were one of few of my wedding vendors that I didn't have to worry about. Holley was simply amazing; she was easy to reach, incredibly helpful with brainstorming ideal color schemes, and calmed me down during my "omg am freaking out" moments. When I first reached out to them for a quote, Scott went out of his way to visit my venue to get a visual of what would work for the space and where the lights would be placed. In doing so, he was able to bring practical ideas to the table, and developed an amazing rapport with the coordinator of my reception site. When I finally got the quote, I was shocked at how incredibly reasonable it was. I struggled with deciding what colors to go with but Scott and Holley helped me decide on a palate that complimented the colors of my wedding linens, flowers, and overall theme. On the Friday before my wedding, I stopped by the reception to drop off some reception decor, and got the pleasure of meeting the guys that were installing the up-lights. They loved what they were doing and were incredibly excited for the final product. I tried to stay out of their way but I couldn't contain my excitement so I tagged along while they worked. It was such an amazing experience. When I finally saw the room the next day, I was completely blown away. Everything just fell into place. BAEL took an already stunning room and made it breathtaking and romantic. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I think anything worth doing, is worth doing right. Trust me, you want a company that has a genuine interest in serving you right, and BAEL is gonna do just that. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommended!!! read more

Had Bay area event lights decorate my wedding... it was beautiful! The weeping willow behind the alter made the pictures look like a mystical fairytale! Even though it was outside during the day the trees and the Bistro lights made the park look like a million bucks! They went above and beyond and even added little extras like little stained glass lanterns in the trees cause they knew it would just add that extra charm when I wouldn't of even thought of it. The staff worked really well together, we're on time and cleaned up afterwards. I have also seen their decorations, lights and trees at a few festivals and would definitely say that no memorable event would be as good with out their creative ambiance. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I contacted them about providing the lighting for my wedding at Rengstorff House in Mountain View and they provided me with a quote immediately. During the early stages of planning our wedding, my husband and I sort of dreamed that the event would include beautiful outdoor lighting- but felt like it was way out of our budget and something we couldn't realistically do. We contacted at least a dozen lighting specialists in the bay area and didn't get much of a response at all- until we contacted Bay Area Event Lights. We spoke to Holley and sure enough- she got right back to us and showed us that we could absolutely make it work in our budget! We are so glad we did- the string lighting gave the entire event such a warm, magical ambiance. The event lighting team was there right on time and set up was smooth and seemingly effortless. My friend had a gorgeous outdoor wedding about 20 miles from San Jose a few years ago. The venue was amazing, however there weren't any special outdoor lights or light features to speak of. The venue used old Christmas lights that were out in some parts and looked pretty tacky. Bay Area Event Lights came out and hung tea lights in long small vases from the trees that stretched over the tables and dance floor. It truly looked like a breathtaking, star filled night!! It was an incredible transformation! They also touched up the venues lights since they were pretty spotty. I can honestly say, it was amazing how much of a difference they made. We didn't put in any special requests or give them any direction. They came, looked around, checked out what worked and what didn't, and just did their thing. They have true talent and an eye for making things pop! Thank you, guy! Amazing work! VERY VERY VERY reasonable pricing! Customer service is great, as well.
