Our wedding venue at Saratoga Springs have a partnership with BAEL so we were referred by them. I contacted and emailed Symone. She was so nice and helpful. She booked us an appointment to discuss about the details of what we wanted for our big day. They're business location is in Campbell and was easy to find. Symone wasn't available so we were welcome by Nathan. He went over everything with the lights and decorations. He show us many demonstrations and examples with pictures of what to expect. We were amazed and booked right away! On our wedding day, they had everything setup before the cock tail hour & reception. They made everything easy for us with no worries. I met the individual at my wedding venue, he asked me what exactly I was looking for, took measurements and pictures, and said he will get back to me with a quote later on in the day. This was about one month ago and I never heard from them again. Not only did they waste my time making me drive to my venue to meet them, but they also wasted the time of my wedding coordinator who also came to meet us. It's unfortunate because they not only lost me as a customer, but I will definitely not be recommending them to anyone else who needs lighting for any event. Holley was simply amazing; she was easy to reach, incredibly helpful with brainstorming ideal color schemes, and calmed me down during my "omg am freaking out" moments. When I first reached out to them for a quote, Scott went out of his way to visit my venue to get a visual of what would work for the space and where the lights would be placed. In doing so, he was able to bring practical ideas to the table, and developed an amazing rapport with the coordinator of my reception site. When I finally got the quote, I was shocked at how incredibly reasonable it was. I struggled with deciding what colors to go with but Scott and Holley helped me decide on a palate that complimented the colors of my wedding linens, flowers, and overall theme. On the Friday before my wedding, I stopped by the reception to drop off some reception decor, and got the pleasure of meeting the guys that were installing the up-lights. Even though it was outside during the day the trees and the Bistro lights made the park look like a million bucks! They went above and beyond and even added little extras like little stained glass lanterns in the trees cause they knew it would just add that extra charm when I wouldn't of even thought of it. My friend had a gorgeous outdoor wedding about 20 miles from San Jose a few years ago. The venue was amazing, however there weren't any special outdoor lights or light features to speak of. The venue used old Christmas lights that were out in some parts and looked pretty tacky. Bay Area Event Lights came out and hung tea lights in long small vases from the trees that stretched over the tables and dance floor. It truly looked like a breathtaking, star filled night!!
