Love a good cider house omggg. They have the most insane flavors here - I got a sample of six and it could easily serve two people! I went crazy and got the vindaloo flavor and it was actually quite tasty! Especially with the others being so sweet, this was a nice mix. It was sometimes hard to distinguish the flavor profiles of the ciders, as in if I didn't know the flavor before hand it may have been harder for me to name it. The sour cherry wasn't too sour, great tang and sweet. The pineapple upside down slushie was divine, definitely a sugar rush. Recommend if you're in Tucson and wanting something a little different. Fast service, very fun choosing flavors, fun booth to sit in and chat while you drink up! Overall great ambiance ! read more

Bawker Bawker Cider House - Six cider tasting - Cideries Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Came down to 4th Ave., Street fair looking for something cool to drink and they have frozen drinks with cider. The drinks are extremely strong so be careful cause I'll hit you like a ton of bricks. The staff was extremely friendly. The music was nice that was playing in the background. I've never gone to this place before and I definitely will return. read more

We went to this little place for a paint experience. This was the venue, but not really a part of the painting. We arrived early and were able to sample a few of their ciders before choosing what we wanted to enjoy while painting. They have a long list of ciders to choose from, plus a couple of wines, and a few non-alcoholic options. For food, it seems they specialize in quesadillas, although there were a few other options as well. They had one person working who took care of the bar area and preparing the food. They got quite busy, so it took a long time to get the quesadilla. The gal was very friendly and explained how most of their ciders were low sugar, low carb. The decor was interesting as the Halloween decorations were still up. read more

We came here during the street fair. This area is crazy with people. The service was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend the cider slushees - they don't disappoint read more

Cool spot and good service. Love that they let you bring in food from anywhere. We came for Birds and Bingo with Tucson Bird Alliance. So much fun! We got two ciders while we played. I think it was prickly pear and lemon. read more

So much fun! We came for their weekly trivia and the staff and host were so great. I loved how many different types of cider that they had and the flavors were so fun and different. I was doing dry January and loved that they had a few NA options as well. I did steal a sip of the prickly pear lemon cider and it was really good. If I were to come back I would have to get one of their tart options because I love when a cider is not too sweet. Really nice to have options that were not overly sweet. You can bring food in so there were people who brought in plenty of takeout containers and a few also got deliveries straight to the bar. I really liked that it was such a cool place and that you could easily hang here for hours. They also do make quesadillas if you needed food there. They have GF and veg/vegan options. We did not get them, but it looked like others enjoyed them. read more

They offer a variety of hard cider, a popular one is their prickly pear hard cider. Besides hard cider, they offer savory and sweet quesadillas, or you can build your own. They also have flatbread and grilled chicken skewers. The space is perfect for any occasion for any celebration and the ambiance is very welcoming and friendly, that includes the bar tenders. The service is quick and affordable. I went during their monthly Drag Bingo which was fun and I did win on the black out round and the flash round! Too bad the place closes at 7pm but other than that, it's highly recommend. read more

A really nice concept! I wish I had more time in town to try more of the ciders and guest taps, as well as their full schedule of activities for the community. There were booths and plentiful bar seating, with inviting spaces for board games or trivia huddles. I stopped in on a Friday night with friends on our way to dinner. Really nice HH discount on every pour, and I gave one of their cider mixes a go. Interesting is the best word I have for it, and I think I would've enjoyed one of their standard ciders better than the mixture I tried (but they let you determine what percentage of each, so it's definitely my fault for overdoing the spicy cider!). Next time, I'll go for a flight because indecision was really my enemy here. We had a staff member who was still learning the ropes, so she was a bit hard to flag down, but super nice when you could get her attention. read more

I love love love their hard cider slushies! It feels like Cheers when you walk in, with plenty of fun places to sit: In a booth, in the window to people watch, at the bar...I got the blueberry (I recommend tasting before you commit so you're sure you like the flavor/the apple was not for me)! I tried a bbq chicken quesadilla and was not disappointed. A teeny bit on the salty side, but luckily I like salt. I asked for more bbq sauce (it comes with a yummy ranch dressing normally) and that helped balance the flavors. The great service in there is always present in the few times I've gone. Friendly, down to earth people with great attitudes. It's refreshing and can be hard to come by at some joints. You can tell they're happy to be there. And they know the regulars. I also love that I can buy a frozen hard cider to go and take it home. Do yourself favor and come check out this happy place on 6th Ave! read more

I've been here frequently over the last six months on Wednesday evenings for trivia contests. They specialize in quesadillas, and I've tried several of them. The one I had last night was the Spinach Artichoke Chicken Quesadilla ($12), served with a small plastic cup of salsa. It was tasty and came out piping hot. The place has a friendly ambiance, lots of ciders to choose from (I don't drink so I can't comment on them), and some food, though you can also order food delivered there. read more

I went to Bawker Bawker Cider House for the first time last month, and I've already been back twice since! On my first visit, my friends and I all did flights, to get an array of the options! The ciders range from dry to tart to sweet, with lots of fun variations. I tend not to like very sweet ciders, so Bawker's are spot-on for me! I especially love that a bunch of their ciders use local ingredients! My favorites that I've tried so far include the Prickly Pear Lemon (it's refreshing and tart!), the Apricot Almond, and the Pumpkin. They rotate flavors, which means that there's always something new to try! On top of the cider, I like that they have so many special events. It creates a super fun atmosphere! read more

I'm a cider lover and have been enjoying Bawker Bawker for years. The cider slushies are my favorite, regardless of the flavor, and I always stop in when I'm on 4th Ave. to get a four or six-pack to take home. Staffers are friendly and great about providing samples. They're also really creative when it comes to mixing ciders for a custom blend. This is a cute spot with snacks available, or you can bring your own food. And if you're not a cider fan, they have beer, wine and non alcoholic beverages, too. Bawker Bawker is a Tucson treasure. read more

A million options of cider to choose from and the flavors are so unique! I always find something new to try each time I come and the staff are super friendly and willing to help you find something in your palette. I absolutely love all the events they have- trivia, spelling bees, queer speed dating, drag BINGO, it's so great and inclusive. They just started serving food too, but you can still bring in something from outside as well. I always have a good time here. read more

Awesome place when you need a break from beer, are looking for a healthier option, or just want to hang out with some cool likeminded people. Bawker Bawker Cider House - Slushies? Ok I'll have one! - Cideries Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

It's an unorthodox cider mill where in-house products all boast bold, natural flavors and very low sugar. There's nothing else like it, and it isn't for everyone. Like seriously, it's all unforgettably tart...and quite strong, with each selection clocking in at 7-8% ABV. Sure, I enjoyed my passionfruit-rose cider and the apricot-almond pint as well. Sure, there are a couple dozens other flavors and they constantly rotate even more. But it's not for everyone. In fact, I feel like a weirdo for liking these so much. You have got to try this. And bring your friends. If they don't like these innovative pints, they can just order a guest cider or beer instead. Maybe even a cider slushie, when things warm up a bit. In a nation of sugar fiends, I have no idea how this place can survive. But I am its target audience and I'll be back. read more

I am so excited to have a cider house in Tucson- and I can fully recommend trying Bawker Bawker! The selection of ciders was diverse from classic fruit flavors to slushees and even a spicy cider! They had a food truck outside - the tofu fried rice and chicken fingers were both scrumptious. Overall, the ciders weren't overly sweet and the flight option gave the variety to try a few and decide on a favorite for a pint! read more

I love this place. One of my favorite establishments in Tucson. They had the Concorde grape slushy. It was amazing, probably my favorite flavors that they've had so far. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened and I was not disappointed. The variety of unique flavors is worth trying to find a parking spot on 4th Ave. They don't have meals, but do have snacks. They allow you to bring in your own food and give you a discount for doing so. If you're a teacher follow them on social media for their teacher appreciation nights. The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable about the ciders. I suggest getting a flight to try as many as you can. read more

I came here on a Tuesday night with some coworkers for trivia and I had the time of my life!! I got the cider flight of 4 and my favorite one was the Bengal Spice Cider which was 10/10 delicious. The energy in the room was so fun and full of lighthearted competitiveness. Very chill spot down on 4th ave I would love to come here more frequently and check out the other events they host here. read more

There's not much to say other than this place is great. That staff were so nice and friendly. They explained the menu well and were very personable. Thought it was cool that on the back of the flight sheets are games. read more

Decided to stop by while doing a brewery tour downtown with my family. Couldn't decide between all of the tasty looking ciders on the menu, so I ordered a flight of six different ciders. Loved this place. It isn't often that we can go to a venue for adult soda pops where every option on the wall is gluten free. My wife had a flight of some great hard ciders (and fell in love with the bloody mary cider), while I had a delicious frozen concord grape cider that was the perfect comfort drink a long day at work. I feel like we would be in this place constantly if we lived in the Tucson area. read more

I was interested to give this place a try as I used to be a big cider drinker, not being a huge beer fan. My friends and I all got the 4-flavor flights; I tried the orange cream, cherry vanilla, sarsaparilla, and peach flavors. I was prepared for the ciders to be dry as stated on the menu so that wasn't a surprise, but I wished the ciders were colder and more carbonated. The orange cream was on nitro and had the strongest flavor so I'd recommend that one if you are looking for a more typical cider taste. The cherry vanilla was my second favorite; the peach and sarsaparilla I found the flavors to be rather weak. My friends both had the watermelon slushies and they rated those highly. Our server told us that the owner's preferences for cider leaned toward the less carbonated and less sweet, but with SO many flavors on tap I think having variety in sweetness and carbonation should be on the table as well. Just as I would not want to visit a ciderhouse that was all super-sweet Angry Orchard-style ciders, so here did I wish the choices were not all still and dry. That being said, I would be interested in coming back and trying some more flavors in the future, especially those on nitro. read more

Terrible service, went in the other night after having an amazing time next door at bison witches(definitely go there the vibes were amazing and they had much more ppl and yet they were able to provide amazing service and be so sweet!! Plus good food and drink for the price) and then stopped over here after seeing the two dollar shots thinking how fun and simple but the lady helping us was so uncharismatic that it completely ruined the vibe. We walked in and she didn't Id us and just asked with attitude if we were here for Jell-O shots or actually to get something, she can have whatever opinion she wants about what ppl drink o but there's no need to be bitchy and then make it seem like we were absolutely just ruining her life bc she can't understand that we wanted to try one of each flavor for just three ppl and any questions we had about the menu she just rushed us to pay and barely gave a response and left right away (place was pretty much empty especially the bar) read more

The bartender was practically falling over drunk out of her mind, but other than that it was great! Fun music made the atmosphere awesome. The selection of ciders was fabulous and varied. Was very excited to visit! And I've been drinking cider around the world since the 90s. Ordered a flight and none of them really did it for me. The only one that I sort of liked was the orange creamsicle. It was slightly aerated but the taste was still kind of off and I struggle to describe it - certainly not orange. I really wanted to like this place. ImNone of the other ciders I tried were yummy or noteworthy. Sorry... read more

Great cider house. Good ciders. Good mix ideas for new flavors. Great staff and really good vibe.

I want to love this place so bad, but I kinda stopped going. I used to go to trivia here on Wednesdays and it felt chaotic. It just feels too small for trivia somehow. And the poor staff always seem overwhelmed. It was also unclear if they were going to take our order at the bar or at our table. I would feel bad ordering the food from them because the poor bartender had like 50 other things to do while also having to make my quesadilla right there at the bar. The cider is also kinda expensive. They have a good variety and the ciders are yummy, though! read more

I hate margaritas. They had margarita on tap for happy hour. Idk if it was the tap or the way they make it, but it was delicious. Great price for it during happy hour. Food was pricey and okay. read more

The cider was terrible. Not one cider in my tasting was good. Tomato Basil cider? Why would I want my cider to taste like a salad? The bartender suggested I mix together multiple ciders when I explained that I wasn't a fan. This made it worse.... Pineapple- habanero-hibiscus? Also, the way they brew, there is no carbonation, reminding me of old wine from the back of my fridge. I love a small and local business, but this one needs some more work. read more

Dina was the best bartender. Very friendly, very personable, had the best time 10:10 would recommend!!

Great variety of cider and staff was brilliant, welcoming and friendly. I would definitely go back.

Gross. I'm so sorry to give this place such a bad review but they earned it. This cider has no carbonation at all. Tastes like stale bath water honestly. I love cider and luckily live in a place with extremely good cider. It's too bad they're down here giving cider a bad name in Arizona :( This is not how it's supposed to taste I promise! read more

So happy to have a cider house in Tucson! Highly recommend a featured flight or custom flight to try their unique flavors. The pours are generous and price is reasonable. Some ciders may sound off the wall like Tomato Basil but you won't regret trying them. I will definitely be a frequent customer! read more
